Mike, I’m a few years late, but I taught guitar professionally for 26 years. Brother, you are SPOT ON, it is such a joy to learn Jake’s intricacies from you, and I just love your style! SO much respect! And I’m jealous of your Mr Scary guitar! 🍺🎸

I became addicted to "Bark at the Moon.", When it first came out in stores. I was 10 yrs old. Started playing at 16. I played so much. I taught myself. That I learned all of Ozzy's albums by 22 yrs old. By 24, nothing I couldn't play on the guitar. Very much appreciate these videos to keep it alive. Thanks !

Jake was, without question, Ozzy's most technical gunslinger. Should check out ALL SOLOS FROM BARK AT THE MOON. That kid is the most amazing replicater of Jake licks. He plays every solo. He does both Randy albums, as well. I've been playing for a long time and this kid puts my jaw on the ground. Wish he'd do the Ultimate Sin.

You got that right! Jake was great! Yes, everyone misses Randy but Jake was unique too and very much a great guitarist in his own right. Saw him on the Bark at the Moon tour back in the 80s and he was just kicking ass. He did a really good solo that got the crowd fired up too.

Same here brother..Bark at the moon was very influencial on me when i was 14..Jakes knowledge and use of chords is by far better then anyone at that time era.Everyone else were power chord junkies.Jake is by far my favorite Oz has ever had, including Randy.Thats my opinon and my preferance and many may disagree i just really like the way he writes

Mike, my guitar knowledge of riffs, chords, metal and general madness is tenfold because of you. Here's me, lifting a beer, to you for the weekend! \m/

Despite the fact that the tone and clarity are outstanding, to play that on a GL J Frog clone is insanity. Did I mention that it sounded fantastic. Actually, that was arguably the best sounding clip I've ever seen of yours. Very nice. I've been playing hair guitar since 1985 when I was 15. Got a good ear. 2 👍👍.

Always awesome and clear explained, Mike. I enjoy playing my favorite Jake's stuff even if am not musician. Played BATM and LS (my first tab from one Greek Heavy Metal magazine back in 1987.) back in 80's but never whole Ultimate sin (not easy to pick Jake :) ), real nirvana. If anyone wants to calm down after stress at job i suggest your ''crazy'' lessons, works great ;). Thank you!!! Just keep on rockin' \m/an!

I can't get over how good that sounds. You should do a vid of your gear. I've had all Marshalls. Heads and combos, but I use processors. Zoom GFX8, Boss ME70, and Digitech RP350. GFX8 and the ME70 are fantastic. The Zoom has an 8 character window to name patches. The Boss has 2 characters, but its a Boss. What do you use?

I would love a remix of jake's ozzy albums they suffer so much from bad 80's production. More guitar and less keys... Focus more on drying the mix up a bit. I bet it would sound amazing

About 5 years ago ,I got into Misha Mansoor,I've learned a bunch of it ,Zyglrox and Buttersnips are difficult and Racecar is epic ,are you into his stuff ? Anyway, Unleash the Pwnies was the last thing I worked on ,I used and S6000 sampler to break it down till I got busy and haven't revisited the song .
