When I was a kid, my parents owned a general store. It was my job to take care of the bait house. I counted out many a dozen minnows, tubes of crickets, crawfish and of course night crawlers. We had to go out into the river bottoms and dig our own worms to sell. The bonus for me was I got to keep all the dead floating minnows I cleaned out of the tanks everyday and I took them out to the creek behind the store and caught plenty of bass.
@@haggetthill great story! It was a good distraction when I was dealing with a terrible marriage. And the fellowship with the folks there really helped me make the decisions I needed to make. And it may have been part of the reasons I started a general store years later. Thanks for watching!
I didn't grow up in Michigan, but I've lived in the UP now for 10 years. I love Superiorland. Michigan is an underappreciated state.
@@backwatersandbackroads it is a sportsman's paradise and I enjoyed my time spent in the UP. Thanks for watching
