You're making it so hard for me to chose. Should I stock up on colored acrylics or purchase gel polish? I'm a fairly new nail tech (taking more clients that aren't family) and I really want to try EVERYTHING like the new Valentino colors are gorgeous too🙃
Ugh! I want the whole collection but I don’t even have my license yet😂But these color blends keeeeep calling my name and your swatches are adding to the madness. I love seeing powders in action so that I can be decisive about what to get, that I’d actually use. Thank you for sharing!
Yep, some unusual colors in this part of the collection but I like them. When I get off colors like that it challenges me to come up with a design to use them...so I like them. Thanx Sarah, love your work!
I absolutely love the orange peach, (extra caramel) because you can make it lighter or darker if you wanna get in here and it’s easy to make it a neutral color for all seasons for the most part especially if you live in the south. I absolutely love that one I’ve been looking for a color like that that I can modify the way I want it to be or break it up into like several different shades.
Queen B Nail art I'm exactly the same! I spend forever choosing and then within an hour or 2 of placing the order I start listing the ones I wish I'd chosen ready for the next order! Lol 😂
Tfs Sarah, another list of colours to add to my ever increasing wish list! I love the reds, its my favourite colour so I'd happily by a client who let you do red based designs, if only I didn't live on a different continent! Lol 😂😍💕
when applying a large bead that's really wet to a concave surface (inside swatch sticks rather than running down a nail ), the pigment seems to be settling before polymerizing. It's unfortunate that the brand sells so many powders that marbleize. For the marble-prone Glam and Glits swatches, try blotting off extra monomer, using smaller beads, or patting the beads more prior to pulling it through. thank you, this video was quite helpful, especially knowing the greater ease in application compared to similar colors.
Is it possible that the color variation could be settling in the pots? Like it maybe needs a little extra mix? Or do acrylics not settle? Kinda like a glitter mix where the heavier particles settle to the bottom.
The one that you didn't like very well would go really good as 3D art for flowers because flower petals always have different shadings to him and it would help for your not having to do too much of an ombre it would have it kind of like an ombre already automatically beautiful color though for flowers absolutely
I just love the Reds I’m one client you’d love to do because I love rats in fact I have red glitter on my nails for Christmas And I also love Golddigger very similar to the colour I have on my nails
I feel that G&G is releasing too many colors without properly testing them. No one should have to deal with marbeling, and I've found that some of their powders go on like wet clay.
I'm sorry I'm not trying to be annoying I've emailed the company and it's like they're ignoring my emails all I want to know is can you use these color blind powders like you use the clear and the whites or is it more like a color that you got to paint on and you got to build the structure with the clear if I could answer me that would be great because the company is ignoring me I think I won't be buying from them after this
Wow 48 colors in the new collection and 30 of them are variations of white/clear/pink👍😒 and 10 of them are pretty much dupes. Sooo about 8 actual new colors?🤔 still havent managed to make a nice purple tho. so underwhelming and disappointing. But I love your comparisons, you're always so thorough
Nope then I’d have to finish file and top coat which would take time and waste product doing it inside the swatch creates a shiny hard finish just like it would be when it’s encapsulated
Code for glam and glits/ Kiara sky for 10% off is now: SARAHSNAILSECRETS10

Ya true good point
I just ordered a couple of new colours. I always sit and stare at the colours for so long, procrastination sucks! 🤣

Orange/ peach one do african nails or savanna style nail. Wished we have so many facturys who sell acrylic in so many shades.
I like the red one looks the color of the ruby slipper from the wizard of oz.

Sarah's Nail Secrets are these for professional use only ?😕

Caramel reminds me of butterscotch candies

Those swatches are strange. My don't you swatch on top of the nail instead of under ??
Nope then I’d have to finish file and top coat which would take time and waste product doing it inside the swatch creates a shiny hard finish just like it would be when it’s encapsulated
