We live in a rain forest, I think people need to cut down the evergreens and plant trees that produce food. there is already too much evergreen around this place. heheh.
I'm 72 yrs old tomorrow. I love watching you fell trees. I did that when I was 14-15. Worked for a farmer, who felled trees on his place and anywhere else he was needed. We had one power saw that was a two man.Hated working the chain end of that monster. I am retired now and living in Florida. I do have a tree in the back yard, but can't afford the cost of removal. I'm too old to do it myself. Love your videos. Was recommended by the Morgans. Stay safe.
I started felling trees at the age of 14 for my dads sawmill, and later professionally for a commercial local sawmill. I cut firewood for 30yrs. until we got natural gas. I am now 79 yrs. old and still cut down trees for camp fire wood, I have a large place and lots of trees. So what I want to share with you. I have watched many of these tree felling videos and I consider yours some of the very best, that is why I subscribed to your videos. Brings back memories to me. Happy cutting.

Billy, I just wanted to let you know it’s really cool to find a fella that enjoys the woods as much as I do. As the eldest girl of my family, I was always sent out with my father to cut trees for various people including myself. I remember the days where my muscles ached and the smell of the wood sap. The stains on my jeans that my sisters never understood were the things that kept bringing me back to the woods. I knew I worked hard with my dad even though I wasn’t allowed to run a saw…..I still love to this day…the hum of the saw and the wonder of it all….the oil, calused hands and ready the next morning with enthusiasm…..I wonder if you have children and if you taught them or would you teach them. I finally started to cut trees where it didn’t matter where they fall but I’m still learning….thanks for the love of the wood and the things that draw you back…it’s very evident!…keep on chucking the wood! Sincerely, chris
