Accord trims EX and up support it and it doesn't need navigation

I've got a 2013 Nexus 5 and I am shocked at how great Android Auto is on my '16 Accord EX-L. I saved a bundle not taking Honda's Navi and got a better system overall. Do check out Alex's Android vs. Apple video, he does a good job comparing the two even though he might just be an Apple fanboi. :-) J/K!
I have this car but ive noticed some issues with it. Sometimes when clicking the phone button on apple car play it quits and won't let u call out. U need to unplug the phone n start again. Also the web browser doesn't work. Their isn't enough apps either! Like barely any!
+DoubleD 613 web browser needs a wi-fi source. I agree with the lack of apps

@Alex Guolo not on the sport models ex models and above have car play the Lx and the Sport trims don’t have it the sport only got car play in 2018 with the re design
@Alex Guolo we got it here in the states too the 2016 and 2017 models have it on the ex trims and above it’s not in the Sport trim levels which is what dude originally asked if the SPORT trim levels have it. Which they don’t

Android Auto is the better of the two systems. It supports pinch to zoom which Apple Carplay does not.

no mechanical knobs or buttons? IMO touch controls in autos should be illegal. The need for a driver to take their eyes off the road to use touch controls makes them dangerous.

Thanks be to the Lord that Honda included Android Auto with the 2016 Accord (model appropriate). Because the "HondaLink" app is garbage. Look at the Google Play reviews for more info.
Apple car PlayStation does notre work properly and Honda does do anything about it for accord tourind 2016

I see that Honda now has, "Forced Lighting". Unlike Toyota, you CANNOT shut the lights off even during the day!
Regarding CarPlay, is the PASSENGER locked out from using the touchscreen while the vehicle is in motion? Or is unnecessary and dangerous maneuvering required to get the car stopped in order for the PASSENGER to use the touchscreen for navigation purposes? Using iPhone.

The only answer that I've got is restore my phone but that doesn't resolved my problems and no update have been seen for a HondaAccord 2016 CarPlay radio.
Eugene Brana would you mind sharing the issues you were experiencing?
-Phone disconnecting for no reason.
-Apple map doesn't work at all (at least in my country).
Some calls don't get through (Have to disconnect and to reconnect in order to fix this.)
-You put your car in drive... Forget using the radio screen. You'll been cut of any emergency setting you need. (ex. Bluetooth connection,) Making you to return to your phone or stopping completely your car to fix whatever is needed to be fixed.
Eugene Brana you just aren't very tech savvy, most people don't want cars without them.
