Very nice. If you could only add one thing I would say maybe add a small rear fender. Mostly for safety but I bet it would look that much better. It almost doesn't look finished without a rear fender.
Sup bro, nice bike. Quick question: I have the same bike in miami and was wondering if there is any way of adding a backseat to this same bobber setup. Thanks
I can't say I like the colour choice for the wheels, but you certainly got the lines right on her. I've seen a lot of these bobbed, and a lot of builders seem to have no understanding of the line of the bike. Tanks too tall, seat too far forward, proportions *all over the place* , etc. etc. But this one looks sweet. Personally, I'd put a short rear mudguard/fender on her, just enough for a strip brake light, but it doesn't *need* it. You've made a lovely job of her, young man. Well done. :)
Awesome, Reece! I kinda like the 'fixie' bike look that you ended up with. I just bought the same bike, not running, but a '99 for $600 cash- May have been more of a basket case than yours was. Just needed a battery and a carb cleaning, honed the break cylinders, sealed the stator cover, balanced the carbs, replaced the intake tubes to the cylinders, sealed the gas tank, reworked the wiring back to stock, topped off the front fork tubes, replaced the leaking gear shifter seal, putting baffle DB killers in the exhaust pipes, ordered keys and ignition and gas cap locks(they were not there when I bought it)... fixed a lot of stuff. All ebay, Amazon, craigslist and Duralast cheap aftermarket stuff. I did it on WAAAAAAY more of a budget than you did, LOL. Mine's not a bobber... yet! Yours has me thinking, though. Really turned out to be a total winner!!!!!!
Nice job, I polished the aluminum on mine to not too fine a finish, like a 60s Ferrari race car with red tank, love the hard tail look of our bikes but mono shocked
I know this video is kinda old so you're probably not checking the comments on it, but hopefully you still are. I'm just trying to figure out how you did you're exhaust. Where exactly did you cut it
lol its not like it means fabricating things, hes doing the wiring and for the most part it take mechanical knowledge to do what hes done so id say its considered from the bottom
Looks great man! I see you are in Fort Myers! I live down here too andddd I’m looking around to get my first bike. I have no experience whatsoever but I really dig this style.
Genuinely good video series. I have the same bike. Really wish I knew anything about it so I could do this sort of thing too. Living through you vicariously.
Looks a lot like a different well known you tubers build a good while ago. I’m not one to bad mouth with zero proof or reason. Don’t be safe and follow the trends bro. Be you and make a name. I can’t be upset with anyone passing on good two wheel vibes so keep safe and do you
Built From The Bottom don’t get me wrong bud. Thing looks good. I ride an 2017 fz09 and drz400 so not really my bag but I would love to build a bonnet soon. I’m a welder by trade but can’t find the right project to make it happen. Check out wondrous coating and design on Facebook or insta. That’s me and a buddy’s company. If you need any plasma cut parts reach out and we will help you out for maybe a shout out
Hi there, great job on your bobber, I just bought a Vstar 650 to begin work on. Right now mine has floor boards on, but I was looking to put on pegs instead. Did you add those or were they already on her. Do you recall where you got them, just wanted to be sure if the fitment. Thanks
Amazing build mate - what height are you ? Getting a bobber built and love the seating position you have on yours there ? Trying to get the seat and bars height right so im not too crouched over etc. cheers 👍🏻
This Bike is insane i Love your work and you seem to be a cool Guy. Definetly gonna watch more videos of you! Could you sum up the costs for this bobbee built including the price of the Bike?
Hey bro, awesome build. Where did you find your hand controls? I see you got your levers off of a kawasaki, but I can't figure out where to find black killswitch and turn signal housings for a V star, I'm making a bobber as well. Are the hand signals universal to all bikes?
The wiring for the tail light should be, black, blue for running light and yellow for brake light, black brown and green are turn signals, left being brown and green being right, I could be wrong but as far as I know, most yamaha use that colors.
First off man beautiful bike, exactly my taste. Quick question for the 19 inch wheel is it a must that you need to replace the front end to make it fit. I have a 2000 vstar 650 that i want that front wheel on. Thanks in advance.
Dude, bike looks great. In the process of doing mine. Did you get your rear rim powder coated or sprayed as there are rubber dampers bonded in the rim?
Is there any one out there that have put a 770 big bore kit on there bike? I haven’t seen any reviews on them. Are most people just doing a engine swap instead of a rebuild?
Bro I just seen your video from last year on those bent af rims.those I believe we're mine from my accident I had exact same rims damage tires on my super duty.did u buy them in northern Florida
BENCHAIB I been trying to get more creative with it but normally whoever I have filming for me just stands there and they forget to open with a transition
“America right there” -_- made in Japan
Charles Kellar shhhh just let him have it, we all know but let’s just let him think what he wants
😂
i mean maybe hes talking about be loud af? lol
I came to the comments just to see if anyone mentioned this. lol
He's still a boy ,forgive him
The white and red look great together... very clean, classy, yet vintage looking 🔥
Very nice. If you could only add one thing I would say maybe add a small rear fender. Mostly for safety but I bet it would look that much better. It almost doesn't look finished without a rear fender.
I like that you actually build your stuff whether it be a car jet ski bike good stuff !
Thank!
That's the bike that I've been looking for!! Low, clean, classic

Fuck yeah brother just got my first bike it's Vstar 650 Def's removing back guard and wiring up the rear light like you've done here looks fkn mad 🤟🏿
I know this video is kinda old so you're probably not checking the comments on it, but hopefully you still are. I'm just trying to figure out how you did you're exhaust. Where exactly did you cut it
can you really called this "built from the bottom tho" when everything was bought , and just slapped on ?
lol its not like it means fabricating things, hes doing the wiring and for the most part it take mechanical knowledge to do what hes done so id say its considered from the bottom

czerwiec04 thanks g 🔥
Nice bike man, good work🔥🔥🔥
Looks great man! I see you are in Fort Myers! I live down here too andddd I’m looking around to get my first bike. I have no experience whatsoever but I really dig this style.
Did you have to cut the center bracket on the exhaust? I have an 07 and am struggling getting the bottom muffler out
Genuinely good video series. I have the same bike. Really wish I knew anything about it so I could do this sort of thing too. Living through you vicariously.
Hey man! I just bought the same bike, and the exhaust is cut exactly the same! It backfires a bit. Did you rejet?
Super what you did is fantastic man
From Egypt /cairo 🇪🇬🏍️
With the seat what you need is red stitching on it, it would looks amazing with red stitching to stand out instead of black
I wanted to do the seat white with red stitching but my upholstery lady could not do it
Did it again! Nailed it! Gj
That thing looks awesome 🔥
It would be nice if you showed us how you converted the stock exhaust and modified it
Go all way up with that bench press lol clean as bike .
38 special I got you coach 😅
Lol
Lovely looking bike that Reese, well done. Looking forward to the next build. Keep up the good work, really enjoy your channel
Thanks 👍
I neeeeeeeed to know how you did the exhaust!!!! Did you rejet carbs after straight piping it???
Super nice, clean as hell. Def subscribing.
Nice job, where did you get the cylinder head caps from? Are they a good quality piece? Thanks
Looks a lot like a different well known you tubers build a good while ago. I’m not one to bad mouth with zero proof or reason. Don’t be safe and follow the trends bro. Be you and make a name. I can’t be upset with anyone passing on good two wheel vibes so keep safe and do you
Jonathan Fletcher honestly I got the idea to do the bike like this cause I saw one on Facebook market place
Built From The Bottom don’t get me wrong bud. Thing looks good. I ride an 2017 fz09 and drz400 so not really my bag but I would love to build a bonnet soon. Very Nice Bike bro! how tall are you? im 6.0 and im afraid i look too big on this bike
Love the build ❤️ 🇱🇰
That’s America right there… Japanese Yamaha V-Star
Finished up nice bro. How many quarts of oil did you end up putting in?
3 quarts
Nice job on your bobber. Is the front wheel using the stock rim? If so what size tire are you using for the front?
I’m gonna buy this dawg
I love that bike ❤️❤️❤️
First off man beautiful bike, exactly my taste. Quick question for the 19 inch wheel is it a must that you need to replace the front end to make it fit. I have a 2000 vstar 650 that i want that front wheel on. Thanks in advance.
where question, but what jeans where those? I’ve been looking for that wash for a while now.
Dude, bike looks great. In the process of doing mine. Did you get your rear rim powder coated or sprayed as there are rubber dampers bonded in the rim?
How did you cut/ do your pipes exactly?
Will the stock handles work on that bar
beautiful bike.!
It’s always the neutral switch that leaks on these bikes
Loving the rebuilds mate. Would be awesome if you got your hands on a KTM
Im thinking about doing a sick dirt bike build just have to wait till i find a good deal
Nice one, keep up the top work. Makes me want to buy another bike just to customise it
Wish I had found your channel earlier. I have that exact same taillight (led). Amazon shipped me 2 when I ordered mine. Shhhh
Hey man really big fan of your work. Where do you find these bikes?
hey man, what seat do you have? can you give me a link or where did you buy it? nice work :)
Sick❤👍🏾
Is there any one out there that have put a 770 big bore kit on there bike? I haven’t seen any reviews on them. Are most people just doing a engine swap instead of a rebuild?
Really enjoyed the video! What did you use for the gasket on the engine and stator cover?
Ive got an 1100cc vstar I keep thinking of doing the same thing.
Nice ride... have fun.. 🤙
Do you wear any black leather biker greaser jackets with your motorcycle??
tires? where did you get those tires?
What was the cost of the build?
Bro I just seen your video from last year on those bent af rims.those I believe we're mine from my accident I had exact same rims damage tires on my super duty.did u buy them in northern Florida
randall arnett I bought them from some guy in Lakeland
Great looking bike , as to your point the devil is in the detail . Like the way you fixed up somebody else's wiring "project" . stay safe
I really liked the motorcycle and music too. what is the name? 13:40
gotta rejet the bike now buddy! :)
Also cut out in filter housing for better flow with custom exhaust.
Unreal vid love how the bike came out, how did the power feel being a 650 out on the road ?
V star 650 is pretty slow ngl they only make like 40 hp and like 50 pound feet of torque
Yo man what tripod do you use? And what do you use to record ?
just a little spider mount and a cannon g7x mark II
What kinda handle bars are them?
Yo bro where’d you get ur seat?
aaah forgot. what hight do you have?
Awesome bike dude
What brand of tires are those?
10:24 - that’s America right there ?? Yeah nah it’s Japanese mate 😂
Harley Davidson dyna fxdb next?🤔
That or a dirt bike build
What exhaust is that? its sick
It's the stock exhaust. Just removed the slip on ends
What exhaust is that I want one
Bro u did a great job !
PS : Please just stop doing the slap transition every 1minute
BENCHAIB I been trying to get more creative with it but normally whoever I have filming for me just stands there and they forget to open with a transition
i love when people do things the right way, 90% of the time people dont do things right its because they are lazy its so annoying
