If you ever feel bad about your eye bags ,just remember that it's a trend to have eye bags in korea and Japan and people get surgeries to get eye bags :]
My home remedy: Just get more sleep. I used to have bags under my eyes that I covered with concealer when I was 17 or 18. Now I'm mid-thirties and don't party as much and hardly get them anymore - but when I do, I look like I'm 50. My smarty pants advice: According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, bags under your eyes are a symptom of low water energy. Which can be due to kidney problems (fluid retention), lack of sleep or too much "fire energy" (stress, social interaction, or coffee, or alcohol). So the sophisticated TCM remedy is: Stay home, get some alone time and get some sleep :-)
+Gregythegregstortyfl I had (and still do) have noticable dark areas under my eyes. Wouldn't call them bags though. Based on this video it sounds like its because I'm skinny and have close to no fat that its probably all the oxygen rich blood vessels that are showing blue under my skin. Thats pretty sweet like my eyes get lots of oxygen I'm okay with that.
Yeah this is an interesting question. Especially when you factor in that people used to get "phantom itches" and are now starting to feel "phantom vibrations" from thinking their phone is ringing.
Taking Excedrin before you go to sleep reduces eye bagginess in the mornings, not recommended if you are pregnant or sensitive to caffeine. Caffeine and Aspirin are ingredients and have unique ways to reduce swelling, also it'll help you sleep better if you have a headache and is more effective at managing pain that time of the month than Midol (Midol Complete specifically is comparable though not as effective at treating eye bags) - though it should be noted if you have issues clotting or have a low Vitamin(s) K in your diet you should consult your physician if you have a small cut or puncture wound that won't stop bleeding (and of course for any more serious injuries that should probably be treated by a medical professional anyhow)
I've heard or read that bags under the eyes can be an indication of kidney trouble. I don't recall the details but it may have something to do with the body being unable to remove fluid. I used to work with someone who was maybe 50 and he had eye bags like I've never seen. I've wondered if he had a kidney ailment for the bags to be that bad.
I want to have bags because of the intimidation factor. Also I think that they are meant for that to keep away predators during sleep (correct me if I'm wrong)
I've had bags all my life. They have gotten larger (?worse) and I would love to find something to smooth them out. Have tried things all my life but nothing really works. Don't want to go under the knife... so I guess I live with them.
Hey Its Grace My ex had prominent dark circles. He had himself tested and it was because of iron deficiency. He looked great after changing his diet and eating properly.
JER I'm 15 and I have eye bags too... but I think I've seen like 5 year old kids with eye bags so I'm pretty sure it's not just because of aging. But it is true that I almost never get enough sleep. :)
Eating paleo helps!!! I've had a very visual autoimmune disease since I was 7 (vitiligo), but I had no idea that a lot of smaller unpleasant issues I've had as long as I can remember (horrible incurable gas from leaky gut, food allergies, bad skin, and a number of other things I won't go into) were all related to my autoimmune issues. I started eating what is called the Meyers Way diet, created by Dr Amy Meyers, and the bags I've had under my eyes since I was a young teenager went away. Now you're probably thinking that you don't have autoimmune issues. Maybe you don't. And I hope you don't. But through my own research I have found that autoimmune problems are much more common than people realized. It's just that it's not something that's talked about much, so the general lay population doesn't recognize the symptoms. I'm 30 years old and I just found all this out, even when I've had vitilgo since I was a young child. It's very east for the really important information like this to slip through the cracks. What does all have to do with eating paleo? Well, the Meyers Way diet is very similar to the paleo diet, but much more strict. It cuts out nightshades and the top 8 food allergens as well. I have a theory that the reason the paleo diet is so popular right now is that many people have these autoimmune problems and were never diagnosed. Or, like me, never understood the extent of their disease. I thing people are eating this way is because I makes them feel better, but just attribute it to "eating healthy" (which is, in my opinion, a VERY loaded phrase, that is quickly losing it's original intended meaning).
Is there any way to prevent the muscles and skin on our bodies from decaying? I get we age, instead of removing the signs of aging, do you think we might one day be able to stop or reverse actually aging? I'm no expert on biology or genetics or any of that, basic knowledge with some in depth stuff. Like stopping cell senescence, reprogramming cells to grow longer telomeres in the DNA stuff or maybe clone a younger person or save cells from youth to grow a new body without a brain and transplant yours. I get biological immortality is somewhat of a fantasy sci-fi thing, I don't expect it to be available in my lifetime or hopes of affording it, just the idea of it's possibility is enough. Maybe they can save my brain right before I die and keep it alive or frozen in some cryogenic chamber to one day be brought back by an advanced human race.
***** Yeah, I've seen a lot of lectures on the progress via TED and other mediums. What I don't get is, who wouldn't want to fund such a venture? Who actually enjoys getting old lol?
Not sure if I can explain this correctly, but why do we feel what we feel? Like, why am I living my life right now and not someone else's? Why can I only feel my own feelings, and not feel everyone else's feelings? Why can't we metaphorically walk in someone else's shoes?
I'm way too young to be getting this I'm only 16 man it happens for days after I stop or start taking medications I that's only when I gets bad I always have bags
I've honestly never been able to tell whether people have eyebags or not. Like with that before and after photo, the latter one still looks like he has them.
Hi I watched a video on e with a lady going alkaline but she did the berries liquid fast where she had smoothie with strictly berries no carbs or starch only smoothie berries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She did this for three months though which she said at times she would cry but after the three months the bags under her eyes had all disappeared. So she treated herself internally she lost alot of weight but she did not eating meat she went alkaline but it worked so there you go .
I'm 14 and I get eye bags quite often and I'm getting fine lines how's dat possible.. And I sweat a lot can any 1 suggest something for my eyes.. Plz:(
my mom and dad both have bags under their eyes so i have them . and it fuckin sucks cause you can’t do anything about it. usually you’d think they would go away after 4 hours. nope , they stay there for the whole freaken day and your eyelids feel like they’re trying to close when you’re fully awake. i’ve tried everything man:((
You've got "bags"...????? Anyway...how about gravity ? Over the years that region of the skin has a lot of muscle movement ,together with our common enemy 'gravity' plus the things you mentioned, conspire to give us that saggy look.
There are several factors in treating aging naturally. One place I discovered that successfully combines these is the Nirca fresh look (google it if you're interested) definately the most useful resource i've seen. look at the super information .
This is pure theory. I have not read any viable evidence of age related orbital ligament degeneration. Furthermore I have not read any evidence what so ever to prove hereditary forming of sagging under eye lids. I have however read some interesting things about heart health and relation to the eye's bottom lid. Check it out via google. You're welcome, ~Random nobody.
Unfortunately it's just plain old acne. I think Uncle Christian had too much sugar the day before we recorded this because I broke out like a 13 year old.

I've never had "bags" per se, but I have had dark rings under my eyes my whole life. Makes me look kind of sickly in certain lighting conditions.

I have bags under my eyes, I'm 14 they appeared a few months back thought it was because I don't get much sleep.

For me it's dark circles, I don't see fat like bags, just indented dark circles.
Same. People say it's from not getting enough sleep but I get plenty of sleep
Hey Its Grace My ex had prominent dark circles. He had himself tested and it was because of iron deficiency. He looked great after changing his diet and eating properly.
Are eye bags usually only on adults? Because I'm only 11 (but 12 next week) and I have had eye bags for a long time.
