This whole album is good. Their best effort arguably since 2006’s Louder Now. Almost no aggression though, just a heads up.

152 is the number of the exit they used to get off on the highway when they were going to shows growing up. The number is also on every one of their album covers.
Taking back sunday is one of my favorite bands ever but the singer’s voice just isn’t the same anymore
His voice has been like this on like the last 3-4 albums, why do people still say this?
@@europa1111 Yeah because it’s the first 2 albums that made me fall in love with the band (and most people). They had such an unique sound, right now Adam tries to be a country singer in a rock band with his voice, especially live. Don’t get me wrong I still love them but I wish they were in their prime again.
@@kingexclusivo Well he didn't take care of his voice at all and didn't sing with proper technique and so it changed, he sings that way because he pretty much has to now.
@@kingexclusivo comments like these are ridiculous to me. you fell in love with someone's voice when they were 18-22. Adam and the rest of the band are in their 40's now. If you cannot find anything to relate or vibe to in the newer records, lyrically or sonically, that's fine. But do not act like the growth they have had as musicians and people pales in comparison to their 18 year old selves
@@mikehancho7172 Im not saying it’s their fault for that or that they should have done something different. I’m just stating the obvious that his voice isn’t the same and that I simply don’t like it. That’s ridiculous? I went to see them early this year, was super excited, was a great show but performance just wasn’t as good, at leas t compared to the videos i’ve seen from their younger days. But that’s okay, I’m still a huge fan.

Not 100% if it's this big brained, but the area the band is from was the first area to get an area code in 1947 when 152 area codes were established.
Either way, it's fun when a band is able to take their history and blend it well with a new direction.
100% fans of their older stuff will appreciate every second Adam adds a bit of grit to his vocals.
Honestly, the Fred era was great for me when I was into bands like Fred's old band.
Kinda like a moment in time band for me.
152 is a numbered exit in North Carolina they would meet up at to go to shows.
I've loved their new studio stuff but I saw them open for My Chem in Denver last year and was super disappointed by the live quality. Hoping it was an off night and to be fair it was an opener in a amphitheater setting. I'd love to see this new stuff live.

Little aparté about Neverending Story, one of the biggest childhood movie and i'm stille enjoying it and Nath, i'm not sure you were born when the movie came out 😉 Also i'm looking forward the new TBS album in october 🤘😃
The production is what throws this song off for me. The reverb heavy guitars feel pushed back and Adam’s vocals sound like they need more energetic instruments behind him. Also doesn’t build up to anything grand. Definitely could’ve used John in the verses.
I didn't mind the song but... ah, there's not much 'song' to the song....? it just feels like one line sung over and over for a few minutes?

The band is great live. Vocals are very bad. And it bums me out, because this band is big to me.
