Glad you like them! We have 1 or 2 more in this series. If you like these then Colorado's toughest trails would be a good one for you if you havent seen that one yet: ruclips.net/p/PL1U__4as20wHWclYCE03cBXc-X3pmWsfr
Trail 40a All the wheel spin It makes me grin. Seeing the Scorpion climb; Oh it is sublime. The ruts are deep. The hill is steep. Up the Comancheep is going While down the rocks are flowing. 'That thing's a beast,' Hill killer of the East. "Cake walk!" Exclaimed Josh. You're thinking, "Oh my gosh. This description is all that. I'm going to give this man a hat." 😏
Thanks for letting us ride along with y'all! I'm really wishing that I hadn't been forced to sell my '92 Wrangler to pay household bills when I became disabled. I can easily see myself coming down and running some trails with you fellers! It had a 3" body lift, I was getting ready to do a spring over on it, and I had put 33X13.50X15 TSL Swampers on it. I loved that little pack mule! I would love to get another one just like it, but sadly, that's very unlikely... 🥺😢 Oh well, as long as y'all let me, I'll just ride along with you.
You could call that bonus trail ,”we’re off to a great start” trail, in honor to joshes optimism 😂 Love the videos each week, been a big fan for awhile!
I really like this series and hearing about the history of the trails. Sounds like you’ve been involved in the creation of a lot of those trails in wind rock. I like both rigs but I have to say, the old Comanche is my favorite
Your videos always amaze me by how much abuse your rigs can withstand without totally destroying themselves. A testament to the knowledge and skill of the builders. And some credit to the quality of the parts.
I was telling someone the other day, Its easy to build a cheap Jeep that will conquer this stuff for one weekend. But much harder to build a rig that will conquer this stuff over and over without batting an eye.
That trail after the break could be called the rock and roll hill sense you had a lot of rocks rolling out from under your rigs. Looks like the V8 powered rig had less trouble with the second part of the trail.
Josh, I’m jealous. When the wheeling gets to be dangerous for the body panels, you’re always in one of Matt’s rigs. That’s winning. 🤷♂️ lmfao. Edit: He’s still careful with your body panels and rigs Matt. Honestly he seems to be way more gentle on your stuff than he is on his own stuff lol. Had to point that out, so you continue to let him wheel your rigs! Lmfao
I think you guys should call that the corner of Rocky Road Hill fits it well . Keep up the great work and God Bless you guys and your families. ✌️ 😊👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
That style u joint is an ok idea, but the shortcoming is the cap with the zerk doesn't grease properly. So they don't last in mud and water. Witch is where that lower joint lives.
about half way up that no name trail (bypass) it looked like the trail split creating four deep ruts ( 23:00 ). Kinda looked like a hand. So, I'd call it "FOUR FINGERS"
Kind of reminds me of running trails in middle Tennessee, wish I still had a 1948 Willis. That’s was 40 years ago . Maybe 😢 I’ll get east someday and walk it with cane … lol
Did you notice when you had the tires side by side the swampers cleaned out way better. I don't think it was the V8 power that made the Comanche do better I think it was the tires.
As for when you are to old to walk it, just get a few drones and leapfrog them. When you land one the fly the one last past even further along the trail.
I think that short cut should be called he'll bound with that hill and the rock climbing but both the Scorpion crawler and Comanche did justice great wheeling love the content
Hey Matt, don’t you think your jeep needs a little better tires with some more and deeper teeth on them? On my screen they seem like they are close to being bald
Matt we definitely made some good memories on that trail during the off-road field trip event. Roll overs, transmission servos leaving the chat, fires, we had it all!
kinda forgot how capable the commanche turned out! And remember all the crap you took on pirate, when you started the scorpion?😂😂 seems like a long time ago. keep up the good work. you and Josh work well together.
@bleepinjeep I think they are . I haven't been on there forever either. I just remember the hardcore guys would have no part of a cherokee. that build is how I started following you on the tube.
Ahhh..... P.O.R. I haven't checked in with it in years. Yeah all of us XJ'ers never really got a break there. Probably many of us that were on there moved on to less abusive hobbies. Matt if you dig into some of their archives you might find Bill and his buggy"wolf"
Great video as always. How about "The Rubber Nugget"? Commemorate your awesome under cooked lunch even tho it was before that trail lol A $70 u-joint? Was that a 3 phase or one that's supposed to be unbreakable?
I love these vids with just you two and good ole fashion wheeling or builds. When I see a certain sasquatch I just mute it and let it run to the end while I do something else so it benefits your analytics. Just sayin!
Thanks for these reviews! I've been too intimidated to go out to Windrock because of these kinds of trails. Are there any trails out there suitable for near stock vehicles (e.g. 2.5" lifted Rubicon on 37s & sliders), or are they all gonna result in body damage for a stockish vehicle?
What I am surprised about is the fact that you guys don't break more stuff on your rigs than you do. As high as motors are screaming when they are climbing over some of the obstacles it's a wonder the motor stay together.
I love the Comanche, that thing is Badass Matt. I like the Scorpion Crawler to but you killed it with the Comanche. Hey question Matt , what ever happened to the Chubby Chaser Guy ? I forgot his name but I haven't seen him in any videos for along time ??? Does he have his own channel??? Thanks for the video guy's.
Good morning I am really enjoying this video series seeing these trails and getting tips from experts is definitely a good thing.
Glad you like them! We have 1 or 2 more in this series. If you like these then Colorado's toughest trails would be a good one for you if you havent seen that one yet: ruclips.net/p/PL1U__4as20wHWclYCE03cBXc-X3pmWsfr
Trail 40a
All the wheel spin
It makes me grin.
Seeing the Scorpion climb;
Oh it is sublime.
The ruts are deep.
The hill is steep.
Up the Comancheep is going
While down the rocks are flowing.
'That thing's a beast,'
Hill killer of the East.
"Cake walk!" Exclaimed Josh.
You're thinking, "Oh my gosh.
This description is all that.
I'm going to give this man a hat."
😏
Matt doesn't get enough credit for how good a spotter he is.
You can ride along with us all you want! Glad you enjoy the content!
After that lunch... that bonus run should be called Raw Nuggies
lol, I like it!
Pop-Rocks- bonus. Enjoying this series
Hope knows! 😂
She’s just tired of being called the “Lunch Lady.”
thats probably what it was!
That looked like fun. When you get too old to hike up and down, clamber over rocks. Then you do what I do. I just watch others do it
You could call that bonus trail ,”we’re off to a great start” trail, in honor to joshes optimism 😂
Love the videos each week, been a big fan for awhile!
I really like this series and hearing about the history of the trails. Sounds like you’ve been involved in the creation of a lot of those trails in wind rock. I like both rigs but I have to say, the old Comanche is my favorite
Bonus Trail. "I'm UP for it" Love your stuff.
I live here by Windrock. We ride 3 days a week but have not tackled any of those hard ones.
Dr. Pepper trail…you’re gonna need to see him after the raw nuggets kick in.😂
Going UP 40A is now officially COMANCHE HILL!!! Awesome ride guys, those nuggets should be done by now!
The Comanche is a beast love the look of that truck !
I'd call the bonus trail The Leaf Blower. You don't have any traction until your exhaust blows some of those dead leaves out of the way!
Hi Matt n Josh, It's always fun watching you guys do trails , I would call it Rock n Roll 40 3...Thanks for taking us along
Lmfao
TreeMan can drive...Nice job fellas!
I think I'd call that one MEGGA ROCK MOUNTAIN! Great video! Awesome wheeling!
I think you guys should call that the corner of Rocky Road Hill fits it well . Keep up the great work and God Bless you guys and your families. ✌️ 😊👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
Oh the silliness! Thanks for keeping it weird, keeping it fun and keeping it real!!
Love the channel guys. You could name that trail DREAM CATCHER because it takes your hope and dreams of easily making it to the top and crushes them.
That style u joint is an ok idea, but the shortcoming is the cap with the zerk doesn't grease properly. So they don't last in mud and water. Witch is where that lower joint lives.
Fix a flat, elbows grease...
Camera Work, SWEET.
Thanks again for taking me along.
about half way up that no name trail (bypass) it looked like the trail split creating four deep ruts ( 23:00 ). Kinda looked like a hand. So, I'd call it "FOUR FINGERS"
I like the name Scrabble Hill. Looks like a ton of fun!
Bonus trail is hopes chicken nuggets looks good but does body damage. You guys are awesome love your videos
Your Comanche is an amazing built. Awesome to see what it can crawl over. Keep up the great content
To have a machine like those. Thank you for sharing your experience with us
Kind of reminds me of running trails in middle Tennessee, wish I still had a 1948 Willis.
That’s was 40 years ago . Maybe 😢 I’ll get east someday and walk it with cane … lol
Did you notice when you had the tires side by side the swampers cleaned out way better. I don't think it was the V8 power that made the Comanche do better I think it was the tires.
its awesome to watch you guys do things like this keep on keeping on as long as you can
As for when you are to old to walk it, just get a few drones and leapfrog them. When you land one the fly the one last past even further along the trail.
While I love the Scorpion for its rear steer and added features like the screen for what gear you are in the Comanche is just a hill killing beast.
Bleepin Hollow
I think that bonus trail should be called the creek bed 😂
The trail after the cut has some difficulty but not to bad so I think hardscrabble hill would be fitting for a name!
Should call it Kardashian Hill..I mean you said it was only good for down so ..lol
BBT...Bleepin Bonus Trail!
Upside down hill trail😂😂 love ya all work keeps good vibs
I think you named it. Cakewalk. 😉
"Boulder Dash" be a good name for that section of trail
I think that short cut should be called he'll bound with that hill and the rock climbing but both the Scorpion crawler and Comanche did justice great wheeling love the content
Gravel hill or land slide pass. That hill was like going up marbles.😅
Rolling Rock Hill - love the content on this channel.
Ya, what a DAY!
kinda forgot how capable the commanche turned out! And remember all the crap you took on pirate, when you started the scorpion?😂😂 seems like a long time ago. keep up the good work. you and Josh work well together.
I dont remember the crap on pirate, I'll have to go back and relive those memories... Are old pirate threads still there?
@bleepinjeep I think they are . I haven't been on there forever either. I just remember the hardcore guys would have no part of a cherokee. that build is how I started following you on the tube.
Ahhh..... P.O.R. I haven't checked in with it in years. Yeah all of us XJ'ers never really got a break there. Probably many of us that were on there moved on to less abusive hobbies. Matt if you dig into some of their archives you might find Bill and his buggy"wolf"
Awesome video really enjoy watching
I enjoy that park. So many trails. Even the easy trails are getting hard because of the use.
RawChicken Trail !!!
You are great at wheelin' Matt but leave the cooking to Hope. Good health...Sam n' Ella.
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Bleepin send it or leave it bonus trail.. Keep up with the great videos!
Great video as always. How about "The Rubber Nugget"? Commemorate your awesome under cooked lunch even tho it was before that trail lol
A $70 u-joint? Was that a 3 phase or one that's supposed to be unbreakable?
I’d like to see your warmer😊
The "Salmanilla around Coupe De-Vill-a"
Of course that only works if the Cadillac in question is a Coupe De Ville... but whatever... it rhymes!
The Tennessee Tickler!! Only the select few get to tickle the rocks on this trail!!!! 3XL. LOL.
One of m favorites to RailTrail!! 40AHHYYYYY Ever thought of a series hard trails at AOP!
Cool ride thanks for sharing
I would like to see portals on the Comanche. I think it would look really cool it does great now but imagine if it had ah quad set of portals 🤔
Slip an’ slide, no Rock an’ slide, no how about just Rock On!
The Tennessee Highway through hell. Great description and name. Lol. Or Rock Slide Hill.
thats a good one!
I love these vids with just you two and good ole fashion wheeling or builds. When I see a certain sasquatch I just mute it and let it run to the end while I do something else so it benefits your analytics. Just sayin!
🎉 Rock Garden Hill..
Call it the rice Krispy trail because all the smaller rocks look like a rice Kristy treat
Thanks for these reviews! I've been too intimidated to go out to Windrock because of these kinds of trails. Are there any trails out there suitable for near stock vehicles (e.g. 2.5" lifted Rubicon on 37s & sliders), or are they all gonna result in body damage for a stockish vehicle?
i would call that rocky road ice cream
black top spinning on boulder rock hill
Great video guys. thanks.
Landslide hill very nice trail
What I am surprised about is the fact that you guys don't break more stuff on your rigs than you do. As high as motors are screaming when they are climbing over some of the obstacles it's a wonder the motor stay together.
Gotta build em tough... that and the motor may be screaming but the Jeeps are geared so low the tires are only going 4mph, lol
I wish a had something to come out there with maybe come out there with a Harley
Thank you 👍🏻
"Slider Hill" As if you do not have them you will, also the rocks look like they are ready to slide.
The name of the new trail should be "raw chicken"... Great video, enjoyed the content.
Rattle can hill....That's what it sounded like when you were first starting to climb it. And It looked like you were "rattling around" in your rigs.
The scorpion on 43" mickey stickies would be sweet.
He does have his own channel now. It's a 4x4/BBQ channel.
youtube.com/@AdventureWheelingGrilling?si=J_Tp_uh9ZpvKFGyw
Fantastic 😊
That v8 killed it on 40a
I think it may be Little Caesar at AOP!
Bam Bam & Peeples Trail
Call it Nuggets and fries
Pack-a-lunch short cut!!
Looks like fun.😊
Yes very hard in wet have been on it with my son who was driving jk on 35
Call it " in thru the out door"🎉😂😮😅
I liked the overland stuff better in the truck you gave away :)
(Comment :)
Where is Josh's WJ?
Love both vehicles but the Comanche keeps making things look easy.
That's some good spottin' 19:15
I would caption that trail.
Slipity slide come bounce in our ride. Lol
Since the bonus trail is between trails 39 and 40, could call it 39.5
You have Copper Head Snakes there? That’s Snaky Raker trail 39 A
I’d call the bonus trail “Dave’s Jones’ locker” because you’re going up a downhill trail.
The downside-up only, rubber contemplation trail.
Alternatively, salmonella hill.
They should have park for only sxs and keep them off these Jeep trails
