I have followed both trials very carefully and I am still trying to make sense 'who did what.' It's hard to imagine that such ordinary people can do such destructive things to others.

There were some questions she answered before the question was finished. It was obvious she'd been coached. But, Prior told them not to lie, whatever, sigh.
I couldn’t watch all of Prior’s questioning of Emma. It felt like she was lying and I just couldn’t watch.
Emma was very structured in her comments. You can tell that she has been coached very carefully not to go off script. I observed that Chad was sitting up very straight and was 'tuned in' to everything his daughter said. Nate and Erica, you make a very appealing couple-authentic and very connected to your viewers. I have followed both trials very carefully and I am still trying to make sense 'who did what.' It's hard to imagine that such ordinary people can do such destructive things to others.

My thoughts are - Chad blames the women in his life for his bad actions when he is caught .. so apparently, “everything” w/an appearance of being negative &/or dastardly is the fault of Tammy &/or Lori. Chad is a Faithful Patriarch of his family. Chad’s adult children are 100% indoctrinated & involved in the cult. There was nothing but victim blaming (Tammy) by both children & it made me physically ill to hear Tammy spoken of in the manner her children spoke of her. Chad had spoken w/Emma every single day from prison (+ tons of visits) - he brainwashed all of the nonsense into her head to the point where I don’t feel she has a clue what the truth is.
It’s so nice to see you and Erica during the break. The testimony was so heavy that seeing the two of you in your car was quite fun. I thought Erica also had some good insights like you always do Nate.
I thought the prosecution did an excellent job dispelling Emma's lies in the first five minutes of her cross examination testimony. And Emma purgered herself within the first 10 mins.
It was very odd how Emma displayed no emotion for the death of her mother and the saddness of finding bodies at the family home. This is reminiscent of Charles Manson and the control. Having lived in Rexburg many years ago, it is just so shocking. Hopefully, Chad Daybell gets the death penalty.
