Holy crap! I had no idea this was possible. I had my own Super Gameboy library, but I just kinda approximated it by configuring my Gameboy emulator to run with the border and, and then seperated all of my "SGB Enhanced" titles as my "Super Gameboy" library. But to actually have the splash screen and pallet functionality? That is VERY exciting. Can't wait until I have the time to actually impliment this!
thanks for this tutorial! btw, for anyone getting a black screen when retroarch loads, my fix was placing the super game boy rom files in the same folders as the gb and gbc roms and pointing to those locations in the parameters. cheers!
Holy cow! I guess this is a new update from bsnes that fully supports the SGB? So it looks like we're using the bsnes core to play the Super GB rom, and the SGB rom supports loading gb/c roms... This is amazing!!
Yes, although you'd be duplicating games, media, and all that stuff for a platform that never existed. It might make more sense to add an auto-populate playlist that only lists Super Game Boy Enhanced games.
Thanks! Nice and easy to follow. Glad that Donkey Kong and Space Invaders got a nod as they are two of the best SGB examples.

Prefer this style of emulator setup. I know how to set these all up but refreshing just to watch a tidy setup video with some added facts with it
Awesome! Thank you very much, it is very very interesting! I hope to be able to follow your clear instructions! Thank youuuu!!

ROM-ception!
Excellent tutorial 😀
Great outside the box tutorial video! unfortunately I cant select the bsnes core on the associated plattforms. Do you have any suggestions ?
Oh yes!!!! That's amazing! It's working great! Thank you very much!!!
Is there a way to add Super Gameboy and Super Gameboy 2 as separate platforms and import only those games that were Super Gameboy Enhanced?

@@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC That's a great tip. Thank you.
When i open for example (Super Game Boy emulator) with a game i get a black screen, did i do something wrong?
Does this work with the standalone version of bsnes-hd or just the libretro core?
Can someone share the command line? FIXED moved the command line from "extra command line" to "default command line" and it know works
Does anybody have a list of games which genuinely and significantly benefit from a Super Game Boy (& 2)?
Also, Super Gameboy cannot play Gameboy Color games.
I guess I’m missing something. What is the purpose of this if I already game play these games on Launchbox.
