Heck yea Francisco!! You’ll come across such amazing views, scenery, wildlife, sunrises, sunsets, food trucks, and interesting characters on the road!! And often when you least expect it! All the best and safe travels! 🤘🏽
Loved this video...you had me laughing through out! I can't imagine how much work you both put in, you're truly honing your skills. What a cool way to document your travels through America and abroad, sharing all kinds of fun facts and beauty and creating a template for others to have the courage to go for it. I don't want it to end.....
In 2015 we were at Mt. Rushmore during the Black Hills Motorcycle Rally (Sturgis). The place was packed with what seemed like 25,000 bikers. While taking a break in the viewing area, a B-1B out of Ellsworth Air Force Base came over the mountain, folded the wings back and went into afterburner. All 25,000 people there applauded! The place is very inspiring!
Thanks for taking the time to share your travels, give such useful info that will help anyone wanting to visit. I especially liked/loved the Mt. Rushmore portion and the respect that is given to a national monument. And that you made sure to get the evening presentation. Much appreciated. I’ve subscribed snd looking forward to all your quality videos that I’m sure takes a lot of work to produce, edit and publish. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cool! Saw you were in the taxidermy shop in Custer?? Did you see the raccoons playing poker? too flipping funny! LOVE State Park!! and love Bison, especially med rare---not very PC but the honest truth. Gotta tell ya, we have an F250 and Dave did not scrape any mirrors on Needles Hwy, but we did fold 'em in. Love them pigtails. Beautiful photography!! We were there July 2020 and still filming on my iPhone😳. You had way less crowds so kudos for good timing!! Thanks for helping us relive one of our favorite places. Great job guys!
I love bison too!! On a prairie or in a burger, as terrible as that sounds too! 😂 They’re majestic animals! Yea the Needles was such a unique drive and the whole area was incredible! And were lucky to have so few people there! 🤘🏽Cheers! Hope y’all are well!
@@ONWorldTravel oh yea, and we forgot to mention, the hair band hat thing is hysterical.🤣 WE are well. Liking the work camp gig in the Everglades and taking a long weekend now in Key Largo just to break things up. 3 months without moving at all would be tooo long for us😉
Such a good video on the black hills! We had a blast living there this past summer. I would die to have the burros that close to the car! Custer state park was my favorite part about South Dakota. It could definitely be a national park with how big it is and how many animals you see. We saw bison giving birth last April and it was insane to witness.
Okay, first off- love you both!! 🫶🫶 Also, I went to South Dakota for the second time in June 2021- went back to Mt. Rushmore, through the Black Hills, Custer State Park, and hit the Badlands. I just have to say- South Dakota does not get its due. It's so gorgeous!! Custer is absolutely a gem, and Badlands blew us away. Felt like we were on another planet! So glad you guys got to enjoy!! 🫶
Hi I've been watching your videos over the last few days, they are so fun!! You guys are adorable! I like that they don't usually last more than 20 minutes and you always make me giggle. BTW. Sioux Falls...pronounced Sue Falls. Keep the video coming! Stay safe!!
That’s awesome Laurie, thanks for supporting!! We def have fun with it!! 🙌🏽And good to know how to pronounce it properly, we’re often unsure of how we’re saying things 😂
You guys seemed to be a week or so behind us before we ran into you in Victor. We stayed in Hermosa also about two weeks before we made it to Victor. We are going back to the Black Hills in a few weeks. We loved it there!
Hey Kurt!! Yea I remember you telling me how much you guys loved the area and Custer City! Let me know how it is this time of year, would love to know! Safe travels! 🤘🏽
Bummer, the woman at the entrance says it’s sort of random whether they’re near the road or not, same with Buffalo jams too.. hopefully you’ll have more luck next time Don!!
What?!?!?! Buffalo and Bison are not the same. OMG. Pardon my ignorance, but I assumed Bison was plural for Buffalo. Oh my gosh, I love me some donkeys. They are so fun, have such personalities and great vocals! I could listen to them all day long. Dogs, donkeys, cats, goats, then people. LOL. I wish you would AirBnB the back seat of your SUV and also a bunk in your RV, sign me up! I’d rent them. I’d also drive, and I’m a damn good cook. I can build a camp fire too! Hahaha. If you don’t subscribe to National Park Service on Instagram, you should. Most witty, funny, clever, educational commentary ever! Olivia, you rock as a driver! Especially pulling an RV trailer. I also loved your comments at the end about the memorial aspects of the Mt. Rushmore monument, I too didn’t know the extent of the park’s tributes. So sweet of you to acknowledge this and the beautiful framing of sites and carvings. Thank you!
Deb! Thanks again for all the kind words!! Yes, the animals are so funn with all their quirky personalities! I’m glad we found out the difference between bison and Buffalo even though I still call them Buffalo sometimes 😂 and they even have a bison emoji now! 🦬 This spot has definitely been a highlight for us with all the amazing sites so close to each other! And maybe we should Airbnb the back of our trailer that could be fun 🤔 😂 and yes, I’m very thankful for Olivia’s driving skills! She’s crushing it! 🙌🏽
Don't feed the donkeys. Everybody does. They walk up to your car, stick their head inside. Begging and slobbering. We did not feed them, they pulled out and moved on quickly. Bison, not buffalo, walk right by your car, they don't care about you. Great experience!
What month did you visit? I was there last week 10-18-21 Needles Hwy was closed due to snow. Just found your channel and I agree this is a great area to visit.
Hey Johnny! We were there mid to end of September so too early for snow! We didn’t expect it to be so incredible, even Custer (the town) was really cool. We’ll definitely be back! All the best!!
@@ONWorldTravel we spent a week there. We did a lot of hiking on the good days. We had one snow day so we drove to Deadwood and Stugis. Great area to visit lots to do. Definitely going back.
I drove a rental car through the town of custer on one of the back side streets that have the deep trough type ravines at the intersections , I hit one of those at about 20 MPH and bottomed out my rental car so hard that the hood popped open (but luckily sort of closed (it bent a hinge) and didn't smash the windshield , the car stalled, but again luckily started and it drove OK enough to get back to Detroit.
The look of excitement on your faces!!! Cant wait to hit the road with our camper !!!
