War tape is good but since it’s so thin it makes the padding look uneven but they are very fantastic I do recommend to by them I’m starting up ranking this year In January for USA Boxing And I’m hoping we get to use War tape
Fit2Box he was and i will keep this short. I was a pro trainer until a while backand learnt how to wrap via Gigli and a whole lot of others. As said, his video was very concise on all matters regarding legality/fighter etc. Would be great to ask his views on cuts/cutsmen etc in a video at some point in the future. Surprised at the quick response to my initial reply, your running a great channel.
You can re-use if you have the Mexican hand wraps by Leroy. You just have to remove the tape carefully and make sure the hand wraps don’t get too damaged. But you can probably get 2 or 3 uses out of them before they become unusable.
Yes it’s great tape and a great process to get your hands wrapped Cut man Sheldon wraps hands all the time and the speed he was able to wrap a hand was incredible Great guy🙏🏼🙌🏼👊🏼👍🏼
The amount of gauze and tape used in this video is ridiculous and certainly not permitted in Canada. In most boxing jurisdictions, you get a limited amount of gauze and tape to use on your fighter.
the only bit missing from the video is cutting the wrap off after and opening it up as it could have been good to see the thing come off and open up compared to how it applied on.
dazens1 All Jamie did was cut with the scissors down from the palm side base of the hand right thru the wrist section going up my Then I was able to slide my thumb and fingers out👍🏼
Too much knuckle pad for my taste, mate. Way too thick. You might hurt your wrist when the that rolls over when you punch. I think half of 15 yard 4" roll folded over is plenty. Did not like having no gauze between fingers either .
@@joeygonzo Some ppl use it,I often do myself, I wrap hands for a living and on fight night I always use strips of tape for the knuckle pad stitch Duran doesn't use gauze between the fingers either,it's good to use while training
They vary. 6-10 yards total . Canada is a lot more strict. I remember a fight of Matthew Hilton. The commission cut up some adhesive tape and stretched them on the wall. They weren't much. HIlton's trainer was furious because he wanted more to protect Matthew's brittle hands.
Jamie is one of the best in the game and his knowledge is second to none. Great video.
Jamie is trurly one of the best around and a good guy also

Glad you are enjoying the content I make👊🏼👍🏼
He got the stich wrap great job
It would be nice to know how fighters like Floyd reuse these kind of handwraps
Rinor Ajeti cut it down the wrist so you can be able to pull put your hand and re use em
@@wbchandsofstone2397 once you cut it's useless, this is not supposed to be reused.
@@lousimms4766 I think you can
@@lousimms4766 Yes, you can . Seen pros use them as pads . Cut them. Then use 1 roll of Mexican Le Roy gause to hold them

simon, what is he using for a knuckle pad? on the camera it looks like a big piece of foam lol. i'm just very curious...
It’s a pad made of empire pro gauze folded over into a gauze ‘pad’
What does he use for knuckle pad?
Daniel Gwynn
A roll of gauze👊🏼👍🏼

You could yes I suppose

jaguarpaw 305
He wrapped it round his own fingers to form the pad

Don't need gauze when you use tape in between the knuckles that's the whole point
@@gabhandebrun1871 Yes, you do . It holds the pad better . You can also have a middle "string" and roll the grip ala Freddie Roach style
