I’ve helped I don’t remember how many people. For me, it’s part of the passion I have for the craft. I get excited to help someone else to get better at our craft.
I would have turned full Mz. Hyde on that manager.😂 Then I would have corporate on the phone and discuss how that manager was harassing customers who were nice enough to help fellow customers in need, and calling their employee a liar for informing that manager that I was just a regular customer. Obviously the position was too much for the manager, and it would be wise to retrain said manager. Possibly even make it a requirement for all management to be able to identify employees at the very least by face. That would teach her to call someone a liar.

At what point and after how much wasted work did she realize that the simplest explanation was probably true. OP didn't work there.
