Today I'm stealth camping at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
One of our awesome super fans named Vincent asked me in a letter if I could stealth camp at an airport so here we go. While at the airport I'll walk you around to show you what the arrivals and departures in terminal one and terminal three have to offer for food stops. We find a Smoke's Poutinerie and enjoy a Bacon, Chicken Ranch Poutine and also enjoy a Bacon Portabella Mushroom Melt at Wendy's.

Ken could you make it a semi camp video by flying in on a red eye, spend the entire day at the airport exploring, and then take a red eye back home? That is something I would love to see!
Way back when everything used to be closed on Sundays, my dad would pile us all in the car and drive to the airport to watch the planes come and go. Sounds corny but it's one of my favorite memories.

He just did. CYYZ is the biggest dump of an airport in the western hemisphere.
Years ago there was a small airport in the city where I went to college. I've always been an aviation geek. I would take the bus and spend the afternoon. The restaurant was cheap. For the price of a burger, I could watch the planes load and unload, take off and land for hours. It was my favorite place to hangout, watch things, and dream of where I would go someday. I enjoyed this so much.

I’ll be doing some stealth camping here of my own. I have a layover in Pearson from 12am-6am in next few days while I’m on my way to St. John’s.

Nothing to love about YYZ Intl Airport. Food is expensive. Zero amenities for the fees we pay on each ticket.

I have been to the Toronto Pearson Airport so many times and I had no idea there was a good life gym and that small food court beside uber pick up. Also the Sheraton Hotel looks beautiful I definitely got to stay there.

The quick answer to why there isn't a Terminal 2 is that when they demolished the old Terminal 2, they didn't want to renumber Terminal 3 to Terminal 2. The original master plan actually called for Terminal 3 to be eventually demolished to make way for an expanded Terminal 1 but that plan has since changed

Oh Ken, I'm just a few minutes into this video, and I'm thinking you couldn't possibly do this in a US airport. Our government is hardcore about cameras and security, after the various terrorist attacks. Be safe, Buddy!

How were you allowed to do this? In the UK this wouldn't be allowed. Airports are private property and you need a legitimate reason to be there e.g. traveling, work in the airport, picking someone up. I don't think vlogging would be an acceptable reason...

YYZ is a publicly owned airport and therefore Ken isn’t doing anything wrong

YYZ, Terminal 2 was permanently closed and demolished in 2007, replaced by an expanded Terminal 1.
This was a really fun video, and great idea. I laughed when Ken said of the police "we might be seeing them later.". Been to Pearson twice and only super briefly so no chance to explore it, but remember liking it (this was in the summer of 2001).
The Portobello Mushroom Burger is my all time favourite Wendy's burger. Usually miss when they're out, but ordered one the other day.

Airports are quite depressing places, people are always in such a hurry. But the most depressing thing is trying to get some sleep a terminal building.

Was so much better when they had the runway viewing room…whenever we would drop someone we would spend an hour or so watching planes land and takeoff….used to LOVE a that as a kid

Terminal 2 was demolished in 2008 after terminal 1-new was completed.
At the time, the decision was made to keep Terminal 3 as Terminal 3, instead of renaming it for simplicity sake. It's as simple as that Ken!
New York (either JFK or EWR) to Singapore are currently the world’s longest scheduled airline flights at just under 19-hours, both on SQ ( Singapore Airlines A350) onc E daily from each airport.

Seen my co workers in this video but if you do end up doing another airport video there’s a lot of other restaurants when you pass through security especially in terminal 3

Pearson is better than YWG when they built the new terminal they didn’t attach the hotel’s. You need to fly to Australia
So at the 9:13 mark Ken. Tho Tokyo wasn’t mentioned. And Orlando seems to be the closest Gateway on the board 2 Blue Jays Spring Training. Probs Orlando. Then would have to get an Über or cab to Clearwater/Dunedin area.
