Incredibly Stunning Tiny A-Frame Cabin Perched 40ft in the Air - TREE HOUSE TOUR

- The Uhu is an incredibly beautiful tiny A-frame cabin perched 40 feet in the air on steel stilts. The exterior is all windows and angles, including a diamond shape on one side, but the interior is full of curves and cozy ambiance. Getting to the cabin is a pretty cool experience: you climb an enclosed spiral staircase and once you reach the top, you cross a 20-foot bridge to get to the cabin's front door.

Inside, there's a surprisingly spacious interior considering it's only 200 square feet. There's a small entrance closet, separate toilet and shower stalls, a kitchen with running water and a fridge, a Queen-size bed with storage underneath, and an eating nook with an incredible view!
It was designed and built by two brothers, along with help of an architect friend and a team of passionate people who each contributed something special to the project over the course of several years!

I clicked the link but it’s in a different language. Where is this located?
Hi. This is an incredible place, thanks for showing it to us!! Could you maybe ask them what they do for lightning? I would be very scared about that up in the air in a totally steel structure!
@@michelebaird5198 it's in Quebec, Canada so it's in French (Canadian French)
@@maritsaappollis7966 There are higher three right next to it and it is not on top of the mountain. Steel goes deep in the ground so in case of lightning, electricity will take the easiest way to the ground by one of the many steel column that act as lightning rod.
@Nebojsa Poljakovic so not problem then electricity will disperse in the ground easily true one of the many pile!
I'll bet it's magical in the snow.
No just cold
I love that it was raining when they did this video and you could hear the rain, it sounds so peaceful
❤
If you had any kind of fantasy living/functioning within a space ship, this is a softer alternative. Very enterprising, certainly. Wishing all inhabitants continued comfort and adventure.
Doesn’t look anything like a spaceship.
Very cool design! You can’t beat the classic A-Frame shape! Definitely perfect for the winter months. I love how the cabin is completely Plummer in with water, electricity, Heating, and even Air Conditioning. I love it! Very nice job!👌🏻😎
This is wonderful. The brother's didn't just think outside of the box. They broke it,and might it better. This is the tree house we all wanted as kids.
Maybe if your name is Lex Luther or Diana Prince.
Your average kid didn't wish for this.
Striking design. Everything is perfectly thought out. If I went there I would never leave.
The architectural style and build quality looks phenomenal, the layout, angles, skylights, and ambient lighting are really nice as well. I love the concept of building and working with the natural layout of the land. Superb job, very well done.
Total work of art. Just beautiful!
Magnifique! J’aime Charlevoix! Encroyable! Such an amazing job on the architecture. Great incorporating of nature utilizing the beautiful forests around the St Lawrence.
A lightning storm would be awesome to watch up there...
Wow so beautiful
What gorgeous little treehouse. I love the design. And the style is fab. So modern yet cozy.
This looks like it would be an awesome experience in every way!
Wow this is special and beautiful. You guys really know how to find these unique gems
Such an incredible tiny home. So cool!
Beautiful - and so incredibly crafted.
Comme c’est beau!!
Beautiful yet modern tiny house. thank you for sharing
This is amazing guys 👍🏻
I would love to build something like this one day. They should make blueprints to follow for their business because this is an awesome design.
I would be extremely conflicted with my fear of heights and love for awesome views...
Wow so beautifully built
Wow, it’s so beautiful!
This is so incredibly beautiful. So happy you have a dream come true. Blessings 😁💛🙏🌻
What an amazing design! I love it!
Lovely work guys, nice to see all the custom woodwork with the bending.
Its pretty but scary at the same time.. I have fear of great heights so im gonna faint just climbing up and going down.. And he mentioned that its all made from steel, wouldn't lighting struck on that cuz its very high up??
There are higher three right next to it and it is not on top of the mountain. Steel goes deep in the ground so in case of lightning, electricity will take the easiest way to the ground by one of the many steel column that act as lightning rod.
I love everything about that!
Really fantastic. The attention for details is just incredible. Congratulations!
It looks like a spaceship in the sky. very cool
Happy you enjoyed the cabin tour, thanks for watching :)
I love the creativity. Completely original!! Congratulations!!
For people in shape and looking for a very special experience this is it no doubt. Absolutely nice design searching for perfection, aesthetic and practical. Must be a little strange to move in this uncommon space. Don’t want to be there in a thunderstorm!!!
Thanks so much for this discovery folks!
Jajjja que socaga!
Outstanding.. That’s the greatest blind I’ve ever seen.. Silver Tuna Tonight..
Priceless
glamping 💖
Wow! That’s amazing!!

Beautiful work.
piece of art! very original!
Amazing house❤ such a great work!
Stunning ❤️
I need one of these so cozy
Absolutely stunning 😮😮😮💚💚💚 Wanna go there ✈😍
This is beautiful
Incredible! Bravo!
Just stunning! Especially as a getaway cottage. I wonder though how windy conditions affect it. 💛🙏🏽
Not really affected since seismic control the lateral rigidity. As the main engineer, we decided with the client to give it a little bit of flexibility and movement to kind of mimic the movement of the three without really being perceptible. We achieved that by computer analysis. We design the weight and rigidity to be out of the first couple harmonic that would have been perceptible to human. But if you really stop and relax you can feel the wind slowly sway the cabine to rock you to sleep.
Mientras no se mueva
@@alexandrebadeau3062 Thanks so much Mr. Badeau. That is fascinating. I especially love how you specifically designed the dream dwelling to allow some of the mentioned movement with a stout breeze. A slight heavenly bend in the wind! Cheers, sir. 💛🙏🏽
@@alexandrebadeau3062 Where I was based in the company I work for, they designed the building to do exactly what you described. You could feel it swaying, like branches on a tree when it was got really windy.
Bravo Repères Boréals, really beautiful from Eastern Townships of Qc.
Wow...fantastic!!!
Amaaaaazing!!
Really nice work. An outside deck on the glass side would be a great addition.
Amazing. Would love to live here ❤
How cozy!
Pretty awesome place to hang out and enjoy nature. Beautiful forest setting. One thing you have to provide is a small wash basin in the toilet room, at the very least, for people to wash their hands!
beautiful 💜💜💜
Extremely cool build.
Happy you enjoyed the cabin tour, thanks for watching :)
Dude that is beautiful 🤩
Absolutely stunning. And Charlevoix is among the most beautiful places on earth. Beau concept, beau travail, c'est absolument spectaculare! Vous avez de quoi à être fiers!
Merci Alan :)
Nice design !
Brilliant!
Beautiful ✨👌🏼
Awesome place, I will love be there a week at least.
Wow, this A-frame is a dream 😍. In order to hold a bigger variety of wine bottles, the wood scoops could be replaced with textile straps (leatherette, alcantra, etc.).
Very very cool
Unique and functional. Truly a brilliant use of space. Wondering if there is a microwave oven though lol. Sleeping in the elevated cabin wouldn't bother me but crossing the bridge might . Excellent work.
Very creative guys.
Unique idea 😍😍😍😍.
great work!
I’d need a window or skylight in that tiny bathroom 😮 #claustrophobic
Looks good!!!
Amazing 👏 🙀 😯
Awesome
wow its amazing 🥰🥰🥰
Amazing! ❤
Beautiful place bro tour
Dream home ❤
Very cute very nice
You can get really strong bamboo and hemp too. Maybe your next build will be one of these. Very creative
some of the most impressive small-space architecture I have seen! We should all exist in such an efficient space, efficient and beautiful. Well done, you deserve every success in your venture. One question, the toilet, is it compost or plumbed into a septic tank ?
Love it👍
The stair tower is cool! The views from the bridge and main living space are fantastic. The living space, however, is on the small side. I wonder if it was possible to enclose the bridge, creating more interior space. Overall, its different.
Just wait for a lightning 🌩 storm !!
It looks lovely and we'll away from any weird creatures in the woods and anything supernatural
awesome!
C'est vraiment beau! Un beau produit/projet du Québec ;)
Félicitations Jo !
Very cool
amazing!
Thanks for watching, happy you enjoyed the tour :)
B-E-A-T-I-F-U-L !-!-!
Cool space. Ever think about a water energy weighted transfer to power a lift instead of stairs
thats how florida houses should be after this hurricane all that water
Quand t'entends l'accent Quebecois! OMG C accessible!!!
They said it was all made of steel. That just screams one big lightning rod to me. I wished that had been addressed in the video. It looks beautiful though. Very well thought out.
I didn't think of that 🫢. I still want it though.
Bride Of Frankenstein hair after stay.
Actually steel is less conducting, because it does not contain the moisture content as wood does. Common sense would assume this is grounded.
You will fall out of the house before lightning will get you 💝🌈
@@HeatherValentineMsFoodie Ha ha. To funny Heather. Hopefully the side rails will stop sleep walkers. :)
They need to add some acoustic panels to the wall over the bed to cut down on the echoes. Neat place.
Beautiful minimalistic living space! Only thing its missing is an adjustable smart tv, maybe above the bed?
A great escape from our busy world. Most people retreating to commune with nature enjoy their surroundings, wildlife, and the beautiful views and don't seek any escape through TV. If they need to check in with the world, the laptop could suffice if there's internet service.
Also, if they don't have cellular service, they may need an off grid satellite phone for an emergency.
I wonder if they considered other off grid solutions like solar energy and a solar backup generator? They don't speak about where the water is accessed. Do they have a grounding system built in for lightning strikes and high winds?
As far as your suggestion of a TV above the bed, I'd prefer a skylight to sleep under the stars. I enjoyed a home with one and it was breathtaking!
It's beautiful. I couldn't visit though.
Keren 🤩
Good. Job
