  • Stylish, modern and ultra minimal, this beautiful, architecturally designed tiny house is sure to impress. From is all-black metal exterior to it's minimalist plywood interior, this solar-powered home is one you are definitely going to want to check out!
Kelly's inspiration for the home's design was borrowed from Kiwi bush huts, being simple, minimal and connected to nature. Her architects took that concept to the next level, designing a home which is beautiful, modern, and cleverly designed to ensure that everything has a place with zero visual clutter.
By building the tiny house, Kelly was able to not only simplify her home, but also her own life. Reduced expenses have enabled her to change her profession into something which brings her more joy and even reduce her working hours.
I hope you enjoy the full video tour of this very beautiful, and super minimalist tiny house on wheels.

I love the openness of it, and when she said it's a place she can come home to and shut out the craziness of the world omg that's just what we all need in the time we are now in with all the craziness of the coronavirus, I would soooo love to have a tiny house like hers right about now. Actually, for me, it means a couple acres of tax land nobody wants, in a state with relaxed housing rules. A dirt road that ends at a live creek where my tiny home on wheels can rest in the shade of an old oak tree. Seeing other people more than once a month or so makes more time to just think. To learn to softly hold onto peacefulness as a state of active life.
Freedom is a lot easier when you're not shackled to the system. That means less stress. And more time to enjoy life.

A lot of Americans are far too arrogant and too impatient, for their own good. But, on the whole humans are adaptable. If we all, all over the planet, follow the advice from our health organizations, we can help slow the spread of this newest virus, so our health care providers won't be overwhelmed and have to decide who gets to use limited respirators and who gets to die, and also give our scientist world-wide a chance to, hopefully produce a preventive vaccine. We may also be giving our planet an opportunity to do some healing with less carbon being emitted.

It still gets incredibly hot inside if the sun is allowed through the windows. I come from Australia & was surprised how large windows south or west facing (nth.hemisphere) create such heat which cant escape naturally unless airing out- which of course creates another problem: allowing flies, wasps & mozzies in (so many here!) AND they don't have fly screens. The DIY screens you can get are way too complicated, cheap & rip easily. Maybe screens are unpopular because they dont use sliding windows but ones which open out or in which can make screens bothersome. I even asked in the UK whether they had the rubber tube with grooved alu screen frames to make them myself- they didn't know what I was talking about. :P

No you’re not alone. Neither ladders or stairs without handrails work for me. Some folks have a bed on a dumb waiter elevator type system. Pull a lever and it goes up into the ceiling to hide until needed. Or you could just get a slightly wider house (say 10 feet) and put bedroom on ground floor.

It is not only the missing railings but the concept of climbing up stairs or a ladder if you want to go to sleep (or reverse) brings a specific problem with it.
The thing is, when the years come also lot of arthritis and similar things come, and many elderly people can no more climb up so easy. And of course, even in younger years it can happen that one breaks a leg or so - but in such cases a temporary solution (bed opposite the door or so) would do it.
I did not yet find a good answer in form of a permanent solution for the typical two floor concept concerning the question how to come in the upper floor without stairs or ladders ...
Else, of course: that tiny home is fantastique! So far the one I definitely like the most ...
