The Three Ways to Crack a Whip

It is my belief that there are only three ways to make a whip crack. They are loop cracks, hairpin cracks, and slack cracks. This video explores this ideology and applies it to learning whip tricks. My aim is to simplify whip use so that whip crackers are less reliant on the traditional names, thereby making the art of whip cracking more accessable to newcomers. Of course, the traditonal names of whip tricks should not be abandoned, but they should be correctly described based on what they are.

Yeah. It didn’t feel very nice. But in all of my years of whipcracking, I’ve only ever broken the skin once.
