My brothers and I used to pretend to be villans and heros. We had a super long, blue electrical cord. It was like 15 feet and I'd use like 8-10ft of it and somehow figured out how to crack it at like 13 years old without injuring anyone involved. After watching this channel, I realize how easily we could have all been in the ER with serious injuries.

I made a few whips around 15-18 years ago. There was next to no info online for making paracord whips, and what there was was pretty confusing for beginners. In the last couple of months, I found myself looking at videos on RUclips, and there are some pretty great videos and video series. I've just finished my 3rd bullwhip, and I'm just changing bits on how I'm making the whips to try to make a whip that I can be proud of. If you are able to get back into making some whips, go for it and have fun 😊👍👍👍👍

In retrospect, it's probably a miracle I didn't seriously injure myself, as it was an at least 6 foot leather whip that had the string at the tip replaced with leather shoelace (the original intent was to kill snakes with it).

Having spent many years on my uncle's cattle ranch during my teenage summers, I learned how to use a bull whip early on. Will absolutely agree 100% that catching yourself in the back of the calf with shorts on is a rather painful reminder to wear pants. However, after many years of helping out around the ranch, I got at least competent enough with whips to use them beyond that job. Nothing professional, but it can be an impressive and sometimes useful skill to have in your back pocket for the right participants.

Been watching you for a bit. Hoping to see you live at Bonnie Lake, WA. Great info video and really got me interested in trying out some whip cracking of my own. Thank you 😁

I wish I had watched this before I bought my first bullwhip. I bought a 10 foot whip and the learning curve is definitely steeper. Getting the timing down was rough.
