no lie its a fucking scary feeling when you submerge the whole hood of your jeep into a mud pit, or a body of water. I did that with my JK and had to change my alternator.
Gino Garcia I did that in my old tj and was horrified when I saw it coming up over my hood! Kept her in 4 low second.. ugh I can't believe I did that and didn't break anything.
@@mdegaming1706 I agree. With all the electrical sensors and bs... I have a 95 yj and 98 xj and zj and that's about as new as I'll go.. granted I plan on keeping these as dailies until I die or get rolled.
Hi there! Here in Brasil, Willys Jeeps are very common and they perform very well. Also the Ford F-75 is a beast and the Toyota Bandeirantes is outstanding. Just type: "Jeep trilhas" or "Jipe Trilhas" or "Jeep Clube" , F-75 trilhas or "F-75 ao extremo". Trilha is trail in Portuguese. Cheers!!!!
he could have a snorkel on the inside of his engine bay that goes into his dash they make install kits you can buy to do this because not everybody likes the look of the 'original style" snorkel
is your jeep the jeep with the name berserker on the side of it oh and by the way I have a jeep but I am doing a lot of maintenance work on it as I had a crash with it and the crash ripped the suspension and damaged some other things as well
I like your jeep the best. Duratracs look pretty good as well, for someone who would hit mud/trails/fields every now and then but mostly run pavement would you choose duratracs or Toyo RT/MT? I say MT because they simply wear great, and i could probably get a good 40,000 out of them even though they're a mud tire. The RT has a 45,000 tread wear warranty and is like the duratrac a true hybrid between an AT & MT. The Duratrac is also much lighter than the Toyo. All that said they're both expensive for a 20" rim. This is for a 2014 Sierra SLT. Awesome videos! We have a bronco i really want to redo as it's current state is well somewhat torn to pieces interior wise. I'd like to fix it up give it a new finish and have what you guys have with your jeeps.
Will Sartin Thanks! 99.5% of my miles are on the pavement, which is why I chose the Duratracs. I know of at least 7 guys with the Toyo MTs on their daily-driven Jeeps that they wheel once a month or less and they like them. The tires are a little heavy so you'll lose performance over the Duratracs but not much. I don't think you can get a Duratrac for a 20" rim though, but I could be wrong.
Treaddepot has 305/55/20 in duratracs, though they're 370-390$ a tire (God i hate 20s) The RTs currently only have limited sizes but Toyo is planning to release more. If i go with them i'd be waiting on 295/55/20s. Local guy has used trail graps with 200 miles on the 295/55/20s for 250$ a tire, they'll be gone by the time i change tires though. Ultimately it will be a toss up between the Open Country Rts, Toyo/Nitto MT, and Duratracs.
If your going to do mud I would do Toyo's. I have Duratracs on my Jeep and they don't do well in mud. I got stuck pretty good this past weekend in deep mud. The problem with the duratracs is they don't clean out like MT's. They work great in everything EXCEPT mud. But the Duratrac's hold up well running pavement, I've had mine over a year and half and they still have a lot of tread.
I've found Trail Graps as low as 338$ a tire in 295/55/20. Though i read so many mixed reviews on their balancing and wear.Comparing them and the toyo's they look similar but the Trail Grappler is indeed more aggressive. Given that the duratracs are 390$ a tire for 305/55/20 i just don't know if i'll go with them. I can get the RT for 345$ a tire in 33x12.5x20, and hopefully cheaper when they release more sizes. All that said though i'm probably going to end up with Toyo MTs. They're aggressive, clean out well, wear great, and have good road manners.

Your a very freaking luck man.
Awesome vid! Not sure what possesses some people to take the top and doors off when mudding tho lol
I was thinking the same thing! All I could think about was how long that shit was gonna take to clean lol
Some people like to feel the mud and water on them. Not me. Not to mention the mess in the cabin of the jeep.
Entropy
Yeah my window won’t roll all the way up and it’s bad lol
Instead of feeling bugs in their teeth they feel dirt/mud-grime with water to try and rinse the sand paper feeling away. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The guy at 43 is going to learn what the term hydro lock means.
No problem dude i like my car muddy from the inside
How did that black/dark blue 4dr jeep JK not flood its engine??

Have you guys tried out those waterproof air intake covers?
I’ve never heard of those. How do they work?
I've had mine on for 3months and it works amazing
0:50 how did the engine not die with no snorkel?
Zivios don't know

Luck?
Um, you don't need a snorkel to run underwater for a few seconds, a splash on the intake will not hurt.
How many jeeps do you have
