Nice, I like the new loco. That passenger money really starts to add up after you unlock Bryson and demand ramps up Edit: Note Connelly L2 will hold 8 log cars so that's your optimal train size for the quick sawmill run
the sawmill can unload 10 though... so i will try and make a tain of 10 and drop 4 off at L1 bring 6 to L2, that way i can do that 2x on one day since L2 can provide 12 logs a day.
Thank you sharing your playthrough man, i bought the game the day after it came early access to support the devs even though I'm without a pc for about a month. This game is everything i wanted in a train game, i was settling for Trainz, yeah that was rough and expensive. Thank you so much!
The reason you don't want to leave that water hatch open isn't because of evaporation, but so you don't get cinders in the water. Steam locomotives injectors do not take kindly to anything clogging up the water line.
Regarding the roundtable incident, I think the game won't let you fly off the end so it stopped you before that happened. During the video it looked like your train stopped before your speed was at zero, so that sudden stop is probably what derailed your tender and caused some damage. Also, do you know if there's any purpose to the caboose? I noticed that there's an observation car that can give you a bonus to passenger revenue, but not sure if the caboose has an actual use or if it's just for scenery. Enjoying your series and looking forward to picking up this game when it releases soon!
Nothing like watching this video while making supper. I had open several cans with a hand crank can opener, my papaw would buy 8 or 9 of them at yard sales. Keep up the Great work, awesome video as always.
After finishing, do you think it would have been better to keep the Mogul and put it on the log cars put the Ten Wheeler on the passenger train and borrow a little more to buy the Consolidation?
Man, I have always tried to watch your videos on my second monitor while I'm playing games but could never hear you. So glad you got the audio issue sorted.
The deca boiz are already out of commission I see haha. I'm sure they'll add a way to have AI trains runs without the need to do an individual fusee each time? Seems useful for more specific control maybe but looks like it would be tedious if you wanted to run multiple services at a time when you really expand. Either way I'm so pumped for Thursday lol, haven't really been excited for a train game in awhile.
Lol yeah the 2tennygang is in town now. Essentially you dont need to use the flar if you leave a switch aligned against the oncoming train, its just used for a stop in a more specific area i guess
This viewing is 6 months old, but I hope you have learned to set the brake wheel on EVERY car you set out. Especially in the hilly logging area! Air brakes don't work after day 2...
I'm not sure if you knew and not being rude, but the whistle you have on your new loco is similar to the one on Pere Marquette 1225 which is a Berkshire like in the game here so if you get one put this whistle on it.
He's using the standardized whistle signals that are legally required to be used in the U.S. One blast to signal that you've stopped. Two to signal you will be moving forward. Three to signal you will be moving backwards. Then two long blasts, one short blast, then a final long blast to signal you are approaching a public railroad crossing.
@@Railfan105. I work in the industry and listen to horns all day. This is still excessive. with some better audio mixing it would be fine, the easier answer is just less of it.
When they said the core gameplay was ready enough for a December release I assumed that meant for everyone, but clearly I forgot they gotta help a certain number of people feel special by letting them get a shot at it before everyone else. If I can’t play it I don’t wanna see it.

My only use for the caboose was to sell it. Gave me a little over 3 grand.

Really enjoyed the video. Got a new sub, but please make playlists haha
Perfect! I can hear you now haha. Love the content!

I'm pretty sure weather is only available via the console at the moment.
The 7th!!!!! Thanks for letting me know!
After watching the Twitch stream I think I got sold on this sim. Looks like a lot of fun.
Sho is. Phys and sounds are enough to get by with what type of sim it is
Maybe the hit box for the Fusee is different for each locomotive?? Sounds like something to test.

Great job! Please keep the videos coming!
On a GP9 the bell is under the front platform IRL, but funnily enough, it lacks a horn model
Not always, sometimes the bell is mounted from the front or back of the locomotive.
@@knightryder6068 on this model it’s not, and he says he can’t find it, so one could assume it’s under the walkway platform

This game looks cool. Looks more expansive map than RRO
Passengers have not been modeled in yet, but hopefully they’ll be modeled in further down the road.
How do you pull up the catalog to buy more equipment? I've missed that somewhere and no one seems to explain it! lol
Once you ride on a car what key do you press to get off>? SORRY for all the questions>
where do you find the "Consist Editor" I don't see it in the game. How do you order more cars.?

Really? Ha news to me. I generally set atleast one wheel.... generally 😆
52:33 that laugh after he says 69 lmao
You sound like you live in the area.
Where do you find The Atlantic Locomotive works in the sim?
Do you think this sim down the road would ever put out modern content? If so that would be cool
I am pretty sure it targets the transition era on purpose.
audio is much improved
Set your passenger train to AI, just don't forget to send it from station to station. lol
how do you stop your mouse from goung crazy to fast?
how do you get on top of the cars? What key?
Wait how do you go to the engine shop?
At what point is the player able to buy new engines and how?
Anytime if in sandbox mode, gotta make $ or take a loan in career

???? i have a 4090 also a 7950x3d and i am seeing alot of stuttering.... anybody else
Do we know a price for the game yet?
$30 US
Your voice isn't too loud, but now the game is too quiet.
Jfc 🤣
I’ll be selling the Diesels. Can’t stand them.
lol ok. Youd have to buy them first
Well... you won't have to sell them.... you don't start with them... so just don't buy them.
I think you can take it easy with the whistle man, you dont need to lay on it for every single move.

Yeah dunno man. I worked near a small yard for years and the switchers all whistled every move. It’s pretty standard.
@@kurtisf3366 this isnt real life. Its a youtube video im watching for entertainment, which is constantly interrupted by WHISTLE
