Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see DreamCatcher with this concept, most of the girls disliked it. I think the closest we'll get is the collab they did a few months ago: "Millenasia Project 'Be The Future' (feat. Dreamcatcher, AleXa & IN2IT" MV. You should check that out if you haven't yet. Again, this wasn't a bad song, I still listen to it occasionally. But it also came out around the same time as some monster girl groups: Summer Queens Sistar came back with "Shake It" and AOA came back with "Heart Attack" like week before. And then SNSD dropped their summer song "Party" a few days after them. So they were completely overshadowed on the charts. Overall I don't think Minx did terribly with this concept and they could've potentially rose over time, but seeing as the girls weren't too fond of it to begin with, I do think the company made the right choice to pull them and redo the group. It still bothers me when Dreamcatcher fans look at this and brush it aside as "typical" and bad when it really wasn't. Yes, I know the girls didn't like it but that doesn't mean it should be talked down on and pass off as "bad".
If you want to see them be sassy and cute watch their cover songs from their concerts. But they don't want to do "cute" concept. Minx was a hard time for them.

"Love Shake" actually came with a Mini Album. Has a few songs. Here, it took me forever to find XD. 1) "Superstar Superman" 2) "Love Shake"(Title Track) 3) "I like you" 4) "Shut Up" 5) "Love Shake"(DY Stereo Club Remix) 6) "Love Shake"(Instrumental) If you look them up you have to type in the song title and Minx right beside it. EX: "Superstar Superman Minx" Edit: If you dont type it in like that then most likely it wont search properly.

Yo ben honestly I’d love DC to do a concept like love shake but sadly I think it would flop. Dreamcatcher have kind of made a name for themselves with these rock/horror-pop concepts and if they were to change it before getting bigger I think it would destroy the momentum they are building with their most recent comebacks 😕
The members have also said they have an agreement amongst themselves (including Handong and Gahyeon) to never do anything like this again, or anything super sweet (Lovelyz-like?). Dongie joked when she "reacted" to "R.o.S.E Blue" that they were breaking their agreement, but they have talked before about how there's concepts and styles they just have zero desire to do (revisiting MINX is one), and the company backs them.
Honestly, if the girls were ok with it, I think they could probably do something a bit more lighter and more summery as a B-side performance. Not this overly cute since I'm sure they don't want to relive this. But it could be something to add another side of DreamCatcher.

i dont think this song is bad (tho im not fond of the transitions), but their MVs as MINX make me uncomfortable(their b-sides and debut song slaps tho). The girls were fairly young and some of the closeups are just kind of disgusting if you want cute you can watch gahyeon's newest special clip (Vanishing Paycheck) personally i think the club remix of Love Shake is the superior Love Shake 👀
Meanwhile, I think their best original Minx song was Like You. I feel like that's one they could actually pull off well even now, and it really stands up...

Yeah dc rly didn’t like the cute concept (especially dami) so i think it’s for the best that they are dreamcatcher now and they have expressed many times that they rly feel comfortable with their concept now. As Starlighteyes has pointed out a major critique of the mv that I have seen and agree with is that despite the age of some of the members and the highly cute concept of the song some of the costumes in the mv can be seen as oversexualized when framed in context of the content. Which can make for a number of uncomfortable moments in the mv where you feel like you should look away. Minx is still always amazing and I will always love 'Why Did You Come To My House'.
Personally i agree... its rly cute and refreshing to see dreamcatcher like this. On the other hand i think that dreamcatcher, as they are now, somehow stand more out and give a fresh tone to k-pop in general. At least i have the feeling that most K-Pop follows that cute concept we see in the video, so i dont rly think that we need DC to be cute again ... But as said, its rly interessting to see them like that and i listen to the song occasionaly xD
