@@blueoxontherun9188 Since this huge consolidation under Thor, shoddy workmanship an incomplete builds have become the industry standard, not an occaisional outlier in the class C and super C categories. It's all about greed...they have no intentions to make their products of a higher quality anytime soon... People want them, and will pay for them. You should see some people's reactions, even after inspections, accepting an RV not worthy of leaving the premises IMHO. Buyers are encouraging this kind of quality by accepting these classless product IMHO🤙
That's a shame that they tried to hide the damage and called the rig perfect but that's why, I always recommend a RV inspection. To many hided problems and poor workmanship on something that cost so much. Thanks for sharing as we have shared...
Hopefully New Comers that are buying an RV will watch you and learn. There is a lot of JUNCK out there. Very few take pride in their product. Great job.
You are not there to blow up deals. Absolutely! I wish I had you a few years ago. I believe you are worth twice what you charge. If all dealers had real ethics, they could do inspections themselves and fix what is wrong. But they want to say “ it’s anRV”. And people believe it. Thank you for what you do!
What an underhanded skeevy proposal from the RV dealer! Outrageous. Hope you said go to hell. If a dealer says we don’t allow inspections, go somewhere else because if they don’t have anything to hide then why not. Happy this customer passed.
Thank you for the informative video on some dealers and inspectors that do not have intergerty. I will be defentltly be asking about a third party inspection when visiting the dealership.👍
WOW !! Great job on the findings. Really disappointing that the driver hit something serious with the awning, and they were just going to sell it as is..
You're right...it's kind of disappointing and sad where this industry is...trying to find honest people and outfits in this day and age...honesty and transparency is not part of everyday life 😢
Not allowed to have inspections hasta la vista baby! Spending my hard earned money. Being a honest inspector has to be a good feeling and you can sleep at night knowing this!
Hi there. I just want to say Thank you for making the video's I enjoy watching them. I don't have an rv and there are no plans to ever get one but your videos are so interesting I watch anyway. Just wanted you to know, thanks.
Need more people like yourselves. Whatever price you charge, it is worth it. Looking into a new motorhome to move up from my 2017. Can't believe the CRAP they are putting out and overpriced!
Liz Amazing just put out a video of an interview with a couple that bought a $450,000 (!) motorhome. It was gorgeous but has many serious issues. It’s crazy!
I've just started watching your videos from Southern Cali. I'm appauled at the stuff you find on brand new models!! I'm going to be purchasing in the next couple months and never thought of an outside inspection. You can bet you sweet biffy I am going to get one now!! Thank you so much for the eye opening!!!
For any product being sold as new, the product should be in perfect or near-pristine condition. If you were to try to re-sell that same unit as is to the dealership, they'd ding you for all of those minor gashes as well as the slide-out issue.
Buyers would get taken if not for both of you. I truly enjoy watching your videos and hope that one day you will inspect my RV prior to purchase. Thank you for everything you and enjoy the RV show in Tampa.
Thank you .. Learned a lot today, as we are talking and seeing different manufacturers and their construction at this "industry day" specifically for that purpose.... Quickly becoming an everyone and their brothers YTubers day 🙄 oh well !!
I won't go into detail but I had a nightmare experience with that dealership in PA after buying a travel trailer from them at the Hershey RV show in 2016....
Dealerships better not hope that someone starts a book about all the horror stories in their industry...please, feel free to share yours so people understand we are not making this up 🙂
Love these reviews. I have a question... after the dealer makes all the repairs and adjustments, do you re-inspect to make sure the items are resolved satisfactorily or is it the responsibility of the buyer to do that?
Once in awhile we do. With your CRL list in hand tho, you can go through those points, checking off every items individually and easily, on your own 😉. Some people do not want to go to the hassle or confrontation and just request us to go 🙂
not sure if you do the west coast... now or in X number of years. as it will be a while till i can afford something. even at just $60-$65K it is a lot for me. i just hope i can find as good of a inspector at that time as you come off in your videos. i watch and learn. unknown about your prices. but even at a grand or grand and a half. for what i can afford, could save my a LOT more than your fee. keep up the great work.
Once again a great video! Incredible story about the salesman discussion with you. Thank you for sticking up for the consumers. More inspectors should strive to have the same dedication and integrity as the two of you. Keep up the good work and thank you for educating us 😀
Hi, we enjoy watching your channel. Just realized we weren’t subscribed so we just subscribed. We didn’t get a chance to meet at Adventure Bandits bash. Hopefully will see each other at the next meet up. 😊

I think with as many videos as you have put out more and more folks are or should be catching on that having a RV inspected is something that really needs to be done. The glitz and glamor are what many see, you see the real rig and give a Honest, Truthful report. EXCELLENT Video, again!
What about child safety seats. Is their any RV manufacturer that puts a seat in for children that need a child safety seat ? Are their seat belts in the seats in the back for children ?
I literally could not smash the thumb's up icon hard & quick enough on this one. Best video you've done yet IMHO. Not much on laundry list of technical faults but drove home the biggest most salient points possible with this process. You guys are simply god-sends for RV consumers. Hopefully I'll get to meet & shake both of your hands some day!!!! ETA: People need to know that because of you & folks like you, the sales industry as it stands is pivoting. Now not only do we consumers have to worry about crap product pushed by the industry & sales people, but we also have to worry about corrupt inspectors due to corrupt sales & RV dealerships trying to counteract the job good folks like you are doing! Wouldn't you think everyone on the manufacturing & sales side would pivot to making quality product now that they're being exposed vs getting more slimy & corrupt? Sad lot of greedy people, I don't know how they sleep at night.
Yeah definitely thank you for sticking to your guns and your customer. Some people sell their goods and workmanship to the highest bidder. If you have any morals at all you stick to what you're supposed to be doing and do the damn job as the best you can. Knowing when you go home at night you gave it a 100% And you can look at your loved ones and say hey I'm damn good at what I do and I do the best I can. Never sell your morals for a dollar
I’m so happy for the potential buyer that they employed your services prior to buying their RV. There’s possibly more bent sellers than honest ones in the country and far too many people are sold RVS that are unroadworthy and will cost 💲 1,000s to correct. It’s worth every penny to have a reputable independent inspection. Thank you for letting us know. Some person is going to come along and buy this piece of rubbish and loose their savings in the process. It’s possibly the only business that remains unregulated and clearly this needs to change very soon. Money well spent in my opinion 😉
I was a real estate agent for over 20 years and sleazy inspectors were common there also. I had one instance where the inspector (chosen by the buyer) offered me cash at the conclusion of the inspection as an inducement for more business. Made me wonder if he glossed over things that he should have caught. I mentioned it to the buyers, they demanded their money back (which they received), hired another inspector and were able to find about $5,000 worth of issues. They still bought but negotiated the price. Thanks for doing it the right way. P.S. It was great meeting you both at the Bash!
Asking the dealer to recommend an inspector is like giving a fox the keys to the hen house. There must be honest dealers and sales people out there, but how does one know? The best approach is to hire an independent RV inspector who works for YOU.
I'm not allowed to say it myself 😉...it's like parents telling their kids what they should do...🙄 Hope people are reading YOUR comments and processing 😁 what YOU are telling them 🙂
A big thank you to Blue Ox for calling out the companies that build the RV’s, the dealerships that sell them and the ‘crappy’ inspectors out there that riddle this industry with BS and lies. Blue Ox is forcing these people to raise their already low standards. They are showing all of us what we should be looking at, looking for and expecting to receive when signing over tens of thousands of dollars for a product that we are told is in tip top shape. I feel strongly that they will be a big part of how the industry as a whole will become better…. Or else be called out by the Blue Ox team! 😝
Are you required to be insured as an inspector to cover any lawsuits that may happen because something was missed during the inspection? If so, that should help prevent unethical inspectors from colluding with the dealerships to hide issues for the sale. They wouldn't be able to afford insurance after a claim or 2.
I'm starting to think RV sales is all about hiding the damage, dirt, destruction, delaminations, drips and doofus manufacturing defects.
So Very Good To See Someone With Integrity, You Folks Do Yourself Proud,,, God Bless
You are saving the customers' best interest. I LOVE YOU BOTH
We appreciate you 🙏
The way you grinned at the end I can tell that you absolutely loved blowing that deal up.😆
Blowing is kinda mean isn't it 🙂🤣
Just stating facts 😁

Amazing how someone can say it’s perfect with a torn awning.
RIGHT?!!! geeze...WTH?🙄🤯
Dealers should hire you for their PDI's. They could then put a sticker on the rv " Blue Ox approved !". Maybe they would sell more units😄🤙

You do not need to ask. You tell them you will have your inspection team going through this unit. It's your money, your rules IMHO
