I explored this house hundreds of times already. That‘s how much I like it. The interior of Logie is a big inspo for mine. Other builders tend to clutter their interior with the awsomd pack we have but sometimes we need to remember that less is more. And the earthy tones of the walls and floors work so well giving the space such a warm and welcoming feeling. 10/10 house
Damn, not going to lie the opening to this video really just caught me off guard with a huge wave of nostalgia. This nice warm and calming music with the great architecture over top of it really makes this video special. Thank You for reminding me of those memories.
It reminded me of all the hours I used to spend watching minecraft mansion tours and i'm feelingthe urge once again, now that I'm getting back into minecraft creative
Could you imagine if Minecraft made a revised version like said in your previous video. The atmosphere of this pack with what I believe is owl sounds in the background is fantastic and the sheer amount of building materials you have is incredible
You should try building the Eppich House II. It was also designed by Arthur Erickson. My dad recently did floor plans of the house because it's going up for sale soon, so if you decide to build it, you could check out the listing.
Really helpful working on my own city right now and the little details make such a big difference my favourite was the plug for the lamp Edit AHHHHHHHHHH young Canadian architect wannabe noises
Is this Vanilla or modded? And which shaders are being used? I play a ton of modded but am needing to get back to more of a “build” based run again. There are so many ways to enjoy this game and I love it!
The house looks drop dead gorgeous and I would've loved to spend a vacation there. I would be annoyed if I was flash banged by the sun every morning though. 😂 (I like Timbits)
I love what Minecraft (And Valheim) does, but I'd love to see something similar done with a much more real and complete material selection. Minecraft is great for ease of use, quick iteration and a fairly wide selection of styles, even though it really favors boxyness. Valheim can get far more precise and fluid, but getting what you want can be awkward, the roof options are kind of terrible, and it's really limited in selection/style. I hope we're getting close to a game releasing where you actually have a realistic selection of materials, like standard planks that you can cut to size and stain yourself, or even apply a custom texture to. (Maybe from a limited selection for server compatibility.) Custom concrete slab shapes using simple 3D modeling tools, and metal framework, beam and pillar features would go a long way. I really believe in games as a medium for digital architecture, because of the wide appeal and the possibility that creations can live on in the game world. Maybe the approach could be a bit like disguising a simplified and streamlined 3D modeling tool as the "advanced building system" that can run at the same time as the game, and by default installs in one package (unlike most modding tools, like ARK).
"I like Timbits" Dude, what shaderpack do you use? It honestly makes everything so beautiful. No doubt that there's some manual settings involved, but I've yet to be able to reach such visuals with any I've used. (Yes, even paid ones.)
Hey I am wandering if you can make a video on a under ground base and if you have any tips for a man like me to make it on RUclips I also love your videos
I know it's not by him, but any structure that's reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright is always an instant favourite!! Everything from the precisely designed clutter, to the mix of "natural" palettes/materials, and probably the most important building technique: the integration of layered heights. That last part, especially, I cannot stress enough. Overall, totally Timbits :)
the house is pretty from the outside, but I think that patio would be guest-receiving space, no? Would you want them walking through your bedroom? Strange layout imo
i'm an 1:1 scale builder so this is definitely oversized to me, especially when you stand next to that car it's like looking up to a container truck. Still, it's a nice build
Mate, I don't mean to virtue signal but I just wanna say - it's really sad that your videos aren't popping off. I hope that you're just doing this for yourself, because if not - then you're in a weird situation right now. I really feel like the algorithm is treating you wrong. Not that you're doing everything perfectly to increase your viewercount, but to only have about 10-15% of your subcount watching you regularly sucks. I find your videos quite entertaining, but perhaps they're just way too specific? They shouldn't be, the minecraft builder community isn't that small. It's just, weird. Again, I don't know what you want to do with your channel, and if you even see it as a potential money-earner or attention getter, but to me it feels weirdly depressing to see such low viewcounts on such good content. Good luck buddy, whatever you're trying to do with this.
Honestly I agree, I’m in this weird limbo between making videos about anything just for fun, and trying to figure out what videos do well. It’s a harder challenge than it sounds while trying to make stuff I really enjoy. It’s also tough because I’ll sometimes spend literal weeks on a video and then it won’t do well and I’ll get discouraged. Work in progress. Not sure how long you’ve been subbed, but what videos are the most appealing?
@@Alpine1 Hi. Sorry for not responding quicker. I don't really know. RUclips reccommends me a mix of your building reviews, and tutorials. The same presentation for actually teaching someone how to do something, I find actually continuously drains my attention span. And no, I don't have tiktok. god forbid you use the bottom floor bathroom in the presence of children that must explore every inch of the property
yes.
I thought the property was also bought by someone who demolished it to build a larger property

Really awesome building, but the editing is way too jumpy. I'm not able to build a coherent image of the house if the in-betweens keep getting cut.
