Indianapolis City-County Council considers snow removal proposal

Despite Monday's warmer than normal temperatures, snow was top of mind for the City-County Council.
At Monday's meeting, Councilor Jared Evans introduced Proposal 69. If approved, it would require Indianapolis' Department of Public Works to change its snow removal policy to include more residential streets.

Side walks and bike lanes need a solution. These are crucial traffic ways for citizens and when they arent cleared it hurts them preventing travel to work and essential services

Oh Please I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life - almost 76 years and they do a terrible job ploughing the streets.

They will plow in their driveways. I used to live in Indianapolis. I would get my driveway clean and then they would plow it in waist high. Solve that problem
