- Thank you for helping me reach 300 subscribers! When I started this channel I hadn't even thought I'd ever reach 100! Much love to all of you for sticking around! :)
Keep in mind that originally bass doesn't play in Embryo, or if it does it's through a very bizarre effect. But the melody is nice and simple, so why not cover it as well. And also keep in mind that I've played this song in the Eb Standard tuning, simply because I don't want to jump around the tunings and ruin the intonation on the bass, and this song allows for it anyway. But I will include the original, C# Standard tab as well as the transposed Eb Standard one for those who want to stick to the original.
I tried to follow the isolated bass track for this song as closely as I could, but sometimes I had no idea if Geezer played a note very lightly or was it just an accidental slip. The song is surprisingly tricky. Those short chromatic runs leading to hammer-ons are tougher than I remember them to be. And also I believe Geezer played this whole song with a pick, which makes me respect him even more, since this song is very 'finger friendly' yet still not easy to play fingerstyle.

The songs are from Black Sabbath's third album - Master of Reality, released in 1971.
Fantastic, hitting the power chords. I spent a lot of time on this one when I learned it, one of the harder ones, it doesn't give you a break. Way fun song to play, I was learning a thrash song at the same time and I think this one gave me harder time. Excellent work.
Oh yeah, this is definitely one of the harder tracks from the Ozzy era. Power chords, quick fills and like you said, it doesn't give you a break! Thanks!
This is the most amazing performance of these things that I have heard!
Awesome intro !!!
Thanks Hettmar !!!
Greetings from California!!
Thanks Dude! Great sound! Now I can learn another Sabbath tune in sloooo Mooooo. I should be able to play it between tomorrow and before the sun burns out!

Brutal
Sucesso com o canal aí cupincha!!
More challenging than my usual fingering... i will change it for a better sound ... great cover!!! 👍👍👍✨
There's nothing wrong with playing it how you want it! As long as it sounds good, it doesn't matter :D I just happen to like to get basslines as close to the original as I can, doesn't mean I'm right!
@@Hettmar for example, over 0:55, these hammer-ons makes the passage more groovy 👌👏 fine!
Great cover dude!
Awesome! Good job 🤘🏻🔥💀
Amazing
Awesome! Cheers!!
At the 2:33 to 2:53 break park ,the second part of the riffs, the last two notes you have as 9th fret to 8 fret on D string.Although I hear it as 8 fret to 7 th fret on the D string. (3rd string, not " D""of course there's detuning ) unless I'm hearing guitar making it sound different, don't know. It's only one note and it really does'nt make much difference ,it's all abit fuzzy there.Just a OCD thing .Cheers
I've used the isolated track for the references so I'm fairly sure this is correct. But its been months since that recording, there might be some mistakes I don't remember making.
@@Hettmar ok thxs ,sounds good either way,but you used isolated so I'm
probably hearing guitar.Thxs again.
