I have traveled in Pakistan northern areas in a Hilux van with full of local Pakhtoon van we girls were wearing jeans and shirts, I still remember their eyes were on the floor none of them made us uncomfortable at all. Absolutely amazing. Loved it. I cannot remember at all watching this video before. Also, I could not recognize it was the same Rajib in the first place, perhaps because of his different outfit and look. A nice one, Carrie!
This place is magical, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm a British Pakistani and yet I've never been to Pakistan, but after watching your video I'm planning to visit Northern Pakistan next summer
That’s made me very happy to read! One of my closest friends is British Pakistani and she has never been and I am like ‘sort it out!’ Northern Pakistan is so magical.. you will be spoilt for choice.. check the temperature.. higher elevations will likely be cool.. obvs cities like Islamabad are beyond boiling.. 🥵
Stay blessed. Stay safe. A few remote tourist destinations of Pakistan are considered somewhat unsafe for female travelers but not these super popular destinations like Fairy Meadows. Hunza & Skardu are other popular places you can visit and be in awe.
I hear it’s busy in summer.. with lots of building work.. there was no-one there when I went but it was off peak.. it sounds like they need to try and control numbers
@@carriepatsalis yes. It’s painfully and annoyingly busy in summers. I went once around Christmas. It was all empty. We had a white Christmas. The temperature at the Nanga Parbat view point was minus 20 Celsius. At night we had a run in with a wolf pack at Fairy Meadows. Luckily we were in the cabin rather than a tent. Those were days 😁
Beautiful vlog thank you …your family should have been more worried Abt the Karakoram Highway ..would be interesting to find out which is the deadliest track 😂😂😂😂
It’s really worth a trip up if you can handle the journey! I think 3 nights would be absolutely perfect then you would have 2 full days up there.. I didn’t want to leave after just one day exploring.. wanted a bit of rest time.
8:42 vague memory of the instructions lol. story of my life side note. please watch a few videos on how to light up a campfire in different weather conditions
Well i was thinking of visiting fairy meadows. Now after watching this video. Ive saved myself time..im not going to go there. Not going to risk it 😂😂 thanks for sharing

Hey how’s it going how’s the trip in Pakistan we are delighted to see you enjoying please have great time and you are most welcome to visit my native country. I’m from Bedford in Bedfordshire and you ??
Thanks Carrie ☺ Contrary to popular belief I feel Pakistan is a relatively safe country & the only dangerous aspects you'd probably encounter in it was driving along the mountain path! Did you hear about what happened to the Spanish couple in India? A truly sad experience for travellers giving the country a bad name & I hope the authorities deal with it swiftly & with justice served to the perpetrators. On a lighter note what did the temperature fall to at night out there?
And the temp feel to minus a little I think.. I didn’t ever check but when the sun went in my hands hurt outside of gloves! I had to be sat close to a fire too! And had hot water bottles 😂
@@carriepatsalis Sorry Carrie but RUclips isn't allowing me to post links regarding the article, but if you Google "gang rape India" something should come up.
