As kids growing up we used to go hiking up at Chatsworth Park through Topanga Canyon. Didnt even realize they made all those movies there.

All my dreams and desires lived there on the Iverson Movie Ranch when I was a kid. I didn't know where the beautiful place was, but It was the most beautiful place in the world. When I searched for it on the net, I found it was already gone, just another modern subdivision. As one gets older the world changes and it seems, not for the good. I'm a child of the 1950s and 60s. Many thanks to you for posting this video!

I love the music and editing. This is a thrilling subject and I enjoy searching for movie rock formations as well. I enjoy the westerns and to think it was filmed in my own back yard. You do amazing work Jerry!

You've got some great shots. I used to live across the street from Corriganville in Simi Valley. Jogged there every day. Watch out for the rattlers. And wandered over much of the Iverson Ranch area as well. It was the ubiquitous backdrop for everything adventure in the 50s.
Ben Burtt, oscar winning sound designer for Star Wars, made a very nice Documentary of Iverson Ranch. A special passion of his. The low budget filmmaker Donald G Jackson jr gave me a copy. And I can find no mention of the film anywhere.
What do you think? Should I upload my copy to youtube?
