He won the scoring race and became the 5th player to get 100 assists, just barely behind McDavid in the assists record book, and he did it on arguably a much worse team than MacKinnon. I think it was given to MacKinnon only because Kuch already has one, which is really lame.
Shouldn't the Rookie of the Year be an asset to his team? Not only was he last among rookies in the plus-minus category, he was near the bottom of the league overall, and if you want to say that he was playing on an awful team, well guess what, he was at the bottom on that team. You have to be playing for more than just yourself to be Rookie of the Year
None of the speeches were classy. Every player looked so dull and couldn't even laugh or crack a real smile. They weren't even well spoken either. Like obama made jokes in his last ever dinner in his last term and was well spoken and he was the damn president. (I like trump tho) You are the best in the world have some fun with it. Not every speech has to be an exact repeat like thank the people and then make a few jokes or have some fun like it was so boring to watch.
