I wish Toyota would have given us the option to get the digital rear view mirror on the limited hybrid model. It’s the highest trim you can get the best mpgs but I can’t get a digital rear view mirror? Really my only complaint.
I have 2 Highlander Hybrids, thought I'd trade in one of them years ago...I just can't bring myself to do it. THIS may be what I'm looking for, I really want a truck and new TACO is nice but compared to this it's hard to justify with all this space and style. I LOVE Highlander, extremely reliable.
@@donjuan914Just a guess, but I’m presuming they mean they are looking more for the mileage associated with the regular hybrid powertrain as compared to the Hybrid Max, which sacrifices mileage for additional power. Just a guess though.

Two things… towing capacity is it 5,000? I dislike the fact that Toyota makes a bigger Highlander yet they kept it at 5k!?!? 7,500 lbs of towing capacity would’ve made it truly “Grand” but they kept that huge gap between the Highlander and the sequoia which has 9,500 lbs towing capacity. And second I see they didn’t address the bubble mirror being in the way over the rear view mirror.
I have a 2022 XLE highlander, how much do you think it would cost to upgrade to Highlander Grand? Added about 1,400 in options Also, doesn’t this reduce the value of current Highlander since Grand seems like much better value ???
@@AuSiE87 Actually, per the Toyota Pressroom release, "Inside, Grand Highlander’s spacious interior offers a variety of options based on customer needs. The interior materials look so cheap Don't get me wrong it has a handsome design inside and out but the material quality could look so much better for a $55k new car and a 4cyl is a no for me. I'll give Toyota props on improving the technology and features they now offer it is wonderfully executed from the new interface to the displays A+ but however, the new engine options are really disappointing almost everything new products that Toyota/Lexus releases is powered a turbo 4cyl only the new LX, GX, tundra and Sequoia still uses a 6cyl as do the upcoming Lexus TX 550h+. The Hybrid max powertrain is shared via the GH, the crown, the all-new Tacoma, the RX 500h, TX 500h it makes me worry about reliability they drop 6cyl in favor of 4cyl then they add 2 electric motors, and battery packs plus a turbo 4cyl sounds like a mechanic nightmare. I don't get why this powertrain is added to such a large 4,700LBS vehicle and then they still claim it can tow 5,000LBS. Toyota is digging its own grave they can't even produce enough cars but they keep releasing new models and they have them in stock these stealerships markup "adjusted market price" I call that bullshit. A 4cyl is acceptable in a car but not in a large family SUV that pushes $60k.

Thanks Jeff for a great review. I love the new Grand Highlander Limited.

The more I look at it it really is nothing but a stretched wider RAV4 and that’s not a bad thing 😊

Jeff, I think the Grand Highlander Hybrid Max is a little too max for me. I think I would prefer the Hybrid hybrid. 🤩
🤣 what does that even mean?

XLE standard hybrid version please. And specifically talk about how the driving feels compared to the current Highlander.
👌🏻
Jeff question? Is there two Hybrid models and if so what is the difference between the two of them?
Great video 👍🏼
Great review. Which trims offer a 2nd row bench? Can you get it in the hybrid max limited?
Ur able to build online on toyota i chucked out the xle and u have the option for bench or cap chairs
Awesome!! How much horse power does the gas model have??
I wish they kept the same wheels as shown in the unveiling.Over all a nice ride.
Jeff nice job. I watch you from Oahu
Did you do a video on the GHL Limited with the standard hybrid?
I really love it 👌
Will u buy if the dealer markup $5000 extra

It looks like a rav4 extended wheelbase.
