On an XFM episode that anecdote comes up and they talk about it. His version of it here is an amalgamation of all the comments Steve, Ricky, and Karl made during that conversation. If you havent already listened to them I would really recommend listening to the XFM episodes. Amazing.

I have no idea what he means by two towels. does he have one hanging up that is dry when he gets out but the other one gets wet because he drops it at the last minute inside the shower?
I think it's that he wears one to get to the shower, when he's unclean, and then has another one to use afterwards that's clean. That way he always has a towel on, but doesn't have to use the same one he did to get to the shower when he was dirty. Just a hypothesis.

+qqleq2 I literally thought her glasses had fallen apart right before the interview, and that she'd had to tape the lens in as an emergency fix. It took me a solid minute to see that's the design of the frames.
Ironically, you are not a shining example for mankind. You were so annoyed that you wrote a comment telling everybody how much you hate her glasses and how deformed 'in the face' you think they make her look. So, you're allowed to call people names but nobody can say anything against you?

My issues is wearing an average size towel around my waist, my john thomas hangs out underneath the bottom of the towel like the pendulum on a grandfather clock. People are always looking at me and asking me what time it is, and they seem confused when I look at my wrist watch.

They are both rather alien to me, but, I have only ever seen the former at school, and I have seen the latter at swimming pools. The former looks like a prison, that's why I never showered at school.
I just saved up for my own gym equipment so I don't have to interact with people at all.

Old men are the worst in gyms. When I was in the air force I went to the gym on base a few times, and actually stopped going because of what I'm about to tell you and started going to a gym off base and paying good money for it 🤣. But the gym on base was full of retirees, if you retire from the military in the US you get to use the gym and other things on base for free, and at this base there were loads of them. In the locker room, don't ask me why, there were mirrors just about everywhere you looked, so everywhere I looked I saw old wrinkly balls and flabby asses. There were several rows of lockers so I picked the very last row thinking there would be less naked old men around me but it didn't matter because there was a damned mirror on both ends of the row! Not gonna lie, I was grossed out and confused. I mean...why? Why do these old men feel the need to be naked even when there was no reason to be? Just like Stephen said they were completely unabashed, they would put their feet up on the bench giving everyone else a full view of everything they had going on, they would spend an unusual amount of time naked in front of mirrors, and they would walk around seemingly aimless fully nude. Going from the shower to your locker nude is one thing, but why do you feel the need to walk around the locker area nude?

I feel uncomfortable seeing him undress in front of the public like this. It's like he is at the therapist, have some self respect by NOT talking about nudity and how horrible your sex life is, geez.
All of Jo brands jokes are directed at herself so people laugh out of awkward politeness.
