Just did my research... 'Anak' was translated in 27 languages and topped the charts in 50 countries, Korea included. The single sold over 33 million copies worldwide. Hence, many folk artists back in the late 1970s may have been influenced by Freddie Aguilar so that's why this song sounds 'familiar' and relatable to many of us. I also read that many folk singers and fans started wearing their own version of the 'sambanilo'/sombrero/hat which was popularized by Freddie Aguilar. Learned something today.

Anak by Freddie Aguilar tells the story of a child(anak) towards his parents love and care growing up so it's a incredible cover by Easy see.saw kudos to you, the staff and crew behind it because it has deeper meaning behind that song so I won't go deep into that so kudos again guys and the reactors as well. Esay Belanio is a Filipino Indie Singer.
She was a contestant of Idol Philippines 2023. I believe she is 18 years old currently since she was 16 when she join Idol Philippines in 2022.
She hails from Iloilo Philippines and most probably singing in Korea as well.
She can play guitar quite well.
She is indeed one talented young lady! She won Best Indie singer in PH last year.
You can check her debut single “But Now You’re Gone” live in Wish bus.
Her performances in Idol Philippines is also quiet amazing!

i thought this was a channel that reacts to music from all asian countries like indian, thailand, taiwan, philippines, malaysia, indonesia like from previous videos why is it becoming more focused on filo songs? Although i like that ur having interest with opm but i thought this channel was more diverse. At this point, I’m thinking it’s clickbait (hope not) or just bc there’s a lot of filos commenting here to react w this and that. But please react to more other music from other countries (fairly) not just opm. Bc I believe u have an audience that also has an interest in hearing & seeing music from other countries (comparing & seeing similarities). But thank you for showing great interest in OPM we really appreciate it (not just reacting but also understanding some bts of the music & artist)

More Filipino content for the third consecutive week? No more Malay, Indonesia, Thai, or Vietnamese? - I feel quite sad since I thought this channel wanted to promote and learn about different musical genres but it seems you guys just want to focus on Filipino views and audiences for easy clout. It's such a shame but I can respect the decision. Heck, I just want to see more diversity, listen to Indian music, listen to Japanese music, listen to Arabic music.
