What a lovely room - it's so nice to see the wallpaper fully - so much detail! I love everything about the room and it is so big - you definitely don't see rooms so big in modern homes. Since I have been going through a few struggles lately, I have been binge watching videos of Miranda's readings and hearing about Yorkshire, which as brought me a since of peace of mind listening to past Friday book passages and bakes and hearing about books that are not the typicals of so many other book tubers, basically regurgitating the same books...There is nothing wrong with that, but it becomes annoyingly redundant after a while, for me.I am someone who adores older homes, furnishings and books...even if I am between a spring chicken and an old duck, someone once said to me, in regards to my liking things of yester-years. I have the Persuasion by Barbara Heller. Instead of just letters it has a map, calling cards, invitations, a musical program and other things. And of course the letter that everyone would expect to be included. I have read that an Anne of Green Gables is in the works. I am wondering what would be included in that one.

I very much enjoyed the tour of your bookshelves and bedroom - I also love dark wood furniture though I don't have it in my bedroom, it's not big, light and airy like yours. I remember watching the Hannah Hauxwell tv series but haven't read her books, something I must rectify. There are lots of very reasonably priced second-hand copies available. I also like the sound of The People on Platform 5, and Woods Fine Linens is a great find. I shall definitely be buying some of their tea towels and polishing cloths.

Method also do a wild rhubarb floor cleaner and multi purpose spray that I use, both smell delightful. The book recommendation you got about Hannah Huxwell, I think she was also know as 'Hannah of the Dales'. The sister of my uncle by marriage (complicated!) Befriended Hannah because she loved her stories so much. There may even have been an ITV series or maybe my mind is playing tricks and I am more confused than usual.😮 I would live to have a little round table like that in front of the window for sitting and dreaming. Just perfect Miranda, I generally end up buying a book after your vlogs………today I very nearly bought the dress!! I am enjoying returning to “All Creatures Great and Small”, read when first published which ages me. Hannah Hauxwell was an amazing woman, she lived a hard life almost to the end but was forced to give in eventually. After her death her “utilitarian” quilts sold at auction for prices that would have amazed her.

I just love your bdrm and always have since I’ve been watching your vlogs, what caught my attention as the transom window above your door, brings back memories here in my home town of Bellingham Wa, when I’d go up to my aunts office to work part time. They were from the early 1900’s. My great grandpa was one of the first senators in the state here and this was one of the buildings he also had one of his offices in. It just takes me back.! Ah, I also noticed you have a door that is covered in the same wall paper...mysteriously hIdden 🤔.. hummmm .

Book troughs are such a small, but useful piece of furniture for us book lovers! It was really happy to pick up secondhand and older furniture for here, but I’m a fan of IKEA too 😊❤️

I have the Persuasion by Barbara Heller. Instead of just letters it has a map, calling cards, invitations, a musical program and other things. And of course the letter that everyone would expect to be included. I have read that an Anne of Green Gables is in the works. I am wondering what would be included in that one.

I remember watching the Hannah Hauxwell tv series but haven't read her books, something I must rectify. There are lots of very reasonably priced second-hand copies available. I also like the sound of The People on Platform 5, and Woods Fine Linens is a great find. I shall definitely be buying some of their tea towels and polishing cloths.

I always look forward to your videos! I have found so many authors through your recommends that I likely would never have known of. I love James Herriot's books and read the All Creatures Great and Small books back to back several years ago. I am not much of a re-reader since I have so many books I want to read that I can't re-read any! But seeing you talk about them here made me remember how much I loved them and I am thinking they may be good on audio for a re-read that way.

Method also do a wild rhubarb floor cleaner and multi purpose spray that I use, both smell delightful. The book recommendation you got about Hannah Huxwell, I think she was also know as 'Hannah of the Dales'. The sister of my uncle by marriage (complicated!) Befriended Hannah because she loved her stories so much. There may even have been an ITV series or maybe my mind is playing tricks and I am more confused than usual.😮 I would live to have a little round table like that in front of the window for sitting and dreaming. Just perfect Miranda, I generally end up buying a book after your vlogs………today I very nearly bought the dress!! I am enjoying returning to “All Creatures Great and Small”, read when first published which ages me. Hannah Hauxwell was an amazing woman, she lived a hard life almost to the end but was forced to give in eventually. After her death her “utilitarian” quilts sold at auction for prices that would have amazed her.
