As an optician, I prefer the dark glasses. They frame your face very nicely. If it comes in a size smaller I would recommend trying it on and comparing. This one might be the best choice. But, it doesn't hurt to compare and verify.

I like the shape and think the darker color frames your face nicely.
The darker frame relates to your features and coloring, emphasis your maleness.

2. Savlon is great for burns
3. You can wear your watch on the other wrist to avoid irritating the burn

I really enjoyed the video as always. You deal with work stress very well, and you deserved those yummy sweets! I hope the burn didn't get infected. It looked pretty bad. Seeing Ava and Fen asleep on the landing made me smile, so adorable!

I keep a little bottle of lavender essential oil in my kitchen drawer for when I burn myself - it is excellent for burns! Give it a try 😊

Joel, I agree with you on the glass selection, the darker one looks better than the clear. I have both and I rarely wear the clear and look forward to seeing the new glasses in a new vlog.
Seasonal depression, and stress eating ,electricity dependent, a very busy day, drinks and chocolate, very scattered vlog and I like it. ❤😂

Wear your watch on the other wrist until your burn heals
You can make a sage green paint wash which would act like a stain or you might be able to find a tintable stain base. Sage green would look great.

Joel, would you consider a gauge camera in your car? It would really make it fun to watch the speedometer as you drive.
Dark days bring dark moods. When the sun emerges it gets better.
Scripts are about a minute per page. Obviously you know that. But for anyone else a feature screenplay is like 90-120 pages. But that doesn’t account for all the expository stuff, buildup, etc that make it so much better 🤷♀️👏😊
I did my garden furniture in Cuprinol Garden Shades in the colour "Natural Stone" and they looked amazing. The fence was in Black Ash, the contrast really popped.

Joel please put some burn cream on that burn and put your watch on your other arm for awhile. The center of that burn is several layers of skin and if you get it infected it will be really long in healing and is superficial taken care of they're much more likely to scar.
I like the clear better in that frame. But I also think you may benefit from a more rectangular frame?.? 🤷♀️

I like the darker glasses. I constantly have to use something on my dry lips. Some products make it worse like chapstick and carmex. Vaseline lip balms is a good one to moisturize your lips (that may have been the blue tube you held up). Exfoliating them helps, as well. Then moisturize. For overnight healing, Neosporin has an overnight treatment in a little tub that really helps. Maybe too much info, but I searched for years to find relief. ❤
The darker frames look better on you. Go for a stain over a paint on the table, it won't chip and you can see the grain better. Also, a lighter color (closer to a more natural wood tone) will age better, so fading won't be as apparent over time.
I love the stone fences. I live in Kentucky and these stone fences are everywhere. In some places they are protected by historical societies.
No such thing as a stone fence. It’s a wall! The most traditional ones round where Joel lives are called dry stone walls i.e. there is no mortar between the stones. Some of them are hundreds of years old.
@@juliebrooke6099 fence or wall both keep the cattle in I won't debate the name. And here in the US these walls are also dry stone, built in the same way, since most of our ancestors came from that region in the UK.

Love the weekly snippets vlogs! Putting my Big Sister hat on here: have that knee evaluated by a physio, mister! You're not a teenager anymore and it's much harder to recover from an injury if you keep stressing it. And a gentle mum kiss for that burn -- steam burns are the worst! Hate them 😭. Oh, and def the darker frames 😊
I would go with a bright blue for the table so when it gets weathered it will look good too.
Definitely the dark glasses look more flattering to me but you have to wear them.❤

My husband on occasion has wolfed down a treat by himself . It just happens. As for the diet Cokes, just beware that the artificial sweeteners can do a major job on your gut bacteria. Over time, if you can ween yourself off those and find a healthier alternative like water or tea. I know it sucks but those soft drinks in any form are awful for your health. Around here Zevia is sort of an alternative as they use Stevia to sweeten the soft drinks that come in multitude of flavors. You should be able to find a similar product over there. Hope Keegan's nose feels better. My husband boxed when he was in the military, a couple of broken noses, surgery and nose breathing issues. I can feel Keegan's pain.
If I saw you in the clear frames, I wouldn't think anything of it; they don't look bad or weird. But the dark ones are like "yessss." They go with your hair and eyes and look quite sharp.
I actually like the clear ones...they are very different. I usually like something a little different.

Defiantly the dark glasses. The paler ones are a little bit old lady! As for your outdoor table, I would either stain it the same colour as the back doors, or if you can't get it the same, go for something completely different. You don't want it to look like it's supposed to match but it fails.

Agree with you on the darker frames suiting you best. I have a gradient frame that is a darker olive green/ brown on the top and fade out to clear on the bottom of the frame.
Brown glasses frames look best on your face. Picnic table...how about same color as the decking?

I like both pairs on you and I thought they framed your face nicely. Do like I always do and by two pairs. I just got new frames/lenses last week. One pair is a square shape in a tortuous shell and the other is like the clear ones you tried on but they have a very light green cast to them.
They make colour stains look into that for outdoor table

You indeed had a busy week! I think the dreary weather makes us feel dreary and lifeless and then you just don’t want to do anything…In the midwestern US we are having our January thaw so it’s a bit warmer but we’ll be going into our February freeze…and it’s the WORST month of the year. I hope you don’t have to experience this level of freezing weather in February in the UK. Regarding the color for your picnic table, I kinda was wondering if you could match the color of the trim on your back patio door? I think it might create a nice harmony in your back garden/patio? I’d love to say hi to you if I ever saw you (but I too am an introvert) but I’m in the U.S. If I ever get across the pond and see you I would try to say hello. I do agree with another viewer who stated they would be more reluctant to say hi if you were with family or having dinner etc. Have a good week!! I hope Keegan starts feeling better!❤
I really like this weekly vlog format! I like the clear glasses best, but the dark frames look good, too. If you stain the picnic table and benches dark, will it look bad as it wears away? I usually go for a natural wood stain for those kind of items. I'm in the Seattle area, so we have equally rainy weather to yours and have to consider that with wood items left outside.
Yeah I think dark stain will mean it needs touching up more often, so maybe I should go for a natural wood stain as you say!

That has happened to me with glasses. I like the clear frames, but when I try it on, I look washed out. I end up buying the dark frames because I have brown (mostly) hair. I loved this video! Good to see you again here.😊❤

The dark glasses are nice. They frame you face well and look good. 🤓 Using stain on the wood table would be less work I think. Paint looks nice when it’s new but chips off and would be more of a process to repaint vs a stain.
