I worked with someone that was the company's CAD guy. I think he had every setting of that software memorized. Anyway, he told me of a place he'd worked, where machines could take metal sheets and pull them to their elastic limit. Then the machines could form the sheets around other (solid) shapes and forms to create a hollow object of that solid shape. He said the metal sheets behaved like rubber, easily conforming to almost any solid form they wanted. Very, very fascinating!

I SHOULD get a cop of H & R....my 'old' Quantum Physics book is Halliday and Eisberg....excellent book!
