      It rarely happens. Once at a big game when the damp morning moist was evaporating away from the ground. I had virtue fans but it didn't help on the unforgivingly wet atmosphere. Another time was during damp sow days but the fan helped during these conditions. I try to change lenses every 3 years to keep the 2 layer lens foam fresh. Immediately when the old lens fogs I change it. If I use glasses underneath they fog before the mask does.

    What's up Nightmare, and thanks for the shout out sir!
    I'm glad you're diggin' the product, and wanted to just address a couple things, and the common questions/comments people may have...
    1. The most common is "Bro, just get a (insert goggle brand here)", and that's awesome, but unfortunately, the sentence never ends with "...because it works for me"...Fogging isn't as much about goggle brand as it is about body chemistry. What works for one person, be it Push, Dye, Etc., may not work for everyone. I've seen guys that don't fog up single panes, and I've seen dudes that fog up some of the very best thermals in the industry. For those guys/gals that get tired of dropping $200 on one brand or another, and don't want to keep dropping that dough, that's what were here for...Any single brand you here mentioned in the comments that work for someone, we literally have hundreds, if not thousands, of users who have the same brand, and fog like crazy...Because it's all about body chemistry as mentioned.
    2, Regarding the plastic...Yes - It's incredibly light, and it feels like you will break it. You won't. That's Prime-Grade, non-recycled Lexan Polycarbonate (the same stuff used in making bullet proof glass). Yes, it can crack if a barrage of paintballs hits it, but what is more likely, would be the fan getting knocked out of balance, or an internal issue if it gets just blasted like crazy...The good news is that our One Year Warranty includes strikes, including first strike rounds at insured fields...So rest assured, we have the backs of our customers.
    3. Sometimes, we'll come across a customer that says they tried it and it didn't work for them...We know that even with the love we put into our product, there may be some strange times where it doesn't help...Unfortunately, in almost 100% of those cases, no one reached out to us, to see if we could help. Not only would we absolutely refund someone if they couldn't get it to work for them in the first full year, we also offer personal troubleshooting, ways to "boost" the system, and the list goes on and on...Often times, when someone reaches out, we find issues hiding in plain site, and they never, ever, fog again...Most business WANT their customers to reach out if there is a problem so they can help. As a small family business, we are one of those that provide one and one service that I personally feel is hard to beat. I do personal videos as well for people that are struggling....Sure, if we can't help someone, we take care of them, but it's always sad to see someone that says it didn't work, and we never heard so we can help, as we can in almost all cases...If not, we don't want their money...We'd much rather have them say "Welp, it didn't work for me, but those dudes took care of me"...
    4. And yes, since your unit, we've improved battery life, increased efficiency, increased the strength and resilience of the fan, to be able to take even more abuse, quieted it down even more, and have even more really cool announcements around the corner!
    As a small business, we can't tell you how much we appreciate the support, and that you are digging the product...As always, we are very, very, easy to reach if you ever have any questions or concerns!
    Kind Regards,
    Aaron Bennett - Owner / ExFog

      I watched the video, I went to the Tier One website and I went to the ExFog website. I'm glad @Nightmare PB is planning to do a second video to show how he installed them because I didn't see anything on the retailer website or the manufacturers website that shows how these are installed in a paintball mask. I see how they are installed in shop goggles and under safety glasses. It would be great if the manufacturer could make diagrams and videos showing the install and then get the retailers to show those on their product page as well.
      My major point of confusion is that paintball fans typically install in the vents above the lens (at least the 2 systems I've owned have installed this way). I'm not sure where the tubes are placed or how they are attached to go in through the temples as most of the ExFog literature suggests or under the eyes as Nightmare suggests.

      @@patrickcorcoran4828 - Hey man, I responded last night, but must have forgotten to hit "send" or something, so my apologies for that...Anywhoo, it's funny you mentioned this, as that's definitely coming shortly! As for tubing, you can go temples, or lower typically. The goal is to help heat and humidity slowly lift up and out of the mask, which is what it wants to do anyway, which is why you want the tubes midline or lower. Going from the vents on top, fights the natural heat raising, and sometimes can create issues...Most comes down to finding a comfortable spot. Many guys like to just put the tubes low, and let the air run up the bridge of the nose..I FINALLY completed most notes for our website rebuild, which has consumed most of my time lately, and hoping to get some how-to vids done shortly....In the meantime, remember, we are here for one on one personal support anytime. Whether through FB PM's, or our email directly...No matter where you purchase, I am always available to give one on one advice, including personal vids...But can't agree more, and have been itching to get a barrage of hookup how-to vids made, and will likely be working on that as early as this week. Best wishes, and thanks for the feedback sir.

      It truly depends on the person. For someone like myself who sweats profusely, a brand new mask and thermal lens still won't cut it on some days.
      Definitely not useless IMO.

    • @patrickcorcoran4828
      @patrickcorcoran4828 Год назад

      In my case it depends on conditions. 95% of the time with a thermal lens it isn't an issue. On some very humid summer days I still get fogging.
