Really wish you had a video of you building the shed and everything in it.
Love the video and setup man, I was at Payne's 2 months ago with my best friend for a golf trip. 11/10 recommend staying at Big Cedar Lodge and playing Buffalo Ridge and Top of the Rock on top of Payne's, truly an insane experience!
Watching your videos now. Love your set up. Just watch you live. Keep doing your thing man it’s awesome.
Thanks for tuning in!
PAYNES VALLEY!!! That is my neck of the woods!!! Great set up.
Awesome set up! Thank you for sharing. Would love to do this soon.
I'm amazed you were able to do this in such a small shed. Love it!
Great looking build there! I can relate regarding the TGC2019 lol, started with the trial E6, paid Im sure waaay too much for TGC2019 then like 2 weeks later found GSPro and never looked back.
Thanks for sharing this video, I was looking to do this in my backyard and this is exactly what I want to build!
Living the life! Love it
Great looking space, love the way you can open it up and have the firepit area being a smaller shed without space for a couch, etc inside.
My OCD is killing me with that cable management though. 😅
Haha I hear ya. Still messing with some things in the setup then will finish it up
Very cool setup! I'd love to hear how you setup your screen to be so taut without a ton of recoil. Perhaps that's in another video so I'll go looking at the rest of your videos. Have to agree with previous comments about cable management being a nitpicky but big issue for me. Can't stand black spaghetti strewn everywhere ; ). Overall, I love your setup and think you've done an amazing job! Thank you for sharing.
How much did the custom shed cost and what company did you use?
this is a dream place
Very nice setup!
Very nice GSPro courses 😉
Awesome setup, looking to build something similar. You mentioned 10 foot walls. Is the tall or short side 10 feet?
Amazing rig!! Does it have AC?
What’s your distance from ball position to screen and then ball position to the doors behind you when they are closed?
Also, wouldn’t mind knowing how tall you are if you don’t mind? Will help compare to myself and how much room I need haha.
Awesome setup too!
Thanks! Screen is a foot off the wall, so leaves about 7 feet from ball to screen and then 7 and a half feet to back wall (lose a few inches off the 16ft when finished)
Awesome build! Doing something similar in my backyard....do you ever have lefties over? If so, how do you set everything up?
The mat is basically in the center so just move the launch monitor to the other side and swing away! GSpro has a cool play out the hole feature so everyone effectively plays two holes in a row before having to switch over
I noticed on your screen it looked a little wavy where the ball impacts the screen. Is that screen getting warm in to the point I could see it on your video?
If you don't mind me asking what your dimensions are?
@@tylerolsen_Rule11 yep, 12 x 16!
Great set up. I’m curious how you deal with buddies that are lefties? I just changed from a Garmin R10 to an Uneekor Eye Mini which sits in front just like your sky track. I’m trying to figure out how to break it to my left, handed friend that he can’t come over anymore for boys night. 😂
I’ve decided to no longer be friends with lefties..
Actually, GSPro has that awesome play out the hole feature for when you have people over that basically has everyone play two holes at a time. So I would just mark where the eye mini should sit on the ground and then move between lefty and righty as needed. Have you liked that thing so far? That will likely be my upgrade
@@shedsimgolf I have only had it a week, but for me, coming from the R10, it’s a huge upgrade. I love having the data in front of me on the unit, as well as on my two screens. The refine software is inferior to Gspro, but I find the view software to be really helpful when I’m working on my swing. Having an image of my ball strike is very unique and there is no analysis necessary when you can visually see it. I find the $199 annual subscription to be much more digestible than the Bushnell launch pro at $700 annually.
I always thought you couldn't putt with GSPro on the OG Skytrak. Apparently you can. Is it pretty reliable?
Speed seems decent, I have some issues with the HLA but they put pretty good bumpers up inside 10 feet so it’s not too bad
Do you wish you went 14ft wide? I'm doing a 12x20 and I'm on the fence going longer and wider
@@lizotte50 if I had the space I definitely would’ve done 14x18 but at the same time, I swing driver freely no problem and hasn’t kept me from enjoying the shit out of it
@shedsimgolf love that. I definitely need to stand inside a 12x20 . I just didn't want to feel closed in and have the space for things. How far back is your projector and which one did you go with?
What is your screen size?
I just ordered the lumber for the same shed (12x16 lean to). What size is your screen?
Nice! Good luck with the project. I just fit my screen 5 less inches than wall to wall and then strapped the EMT to the wall and then bungees attached to EMT
@@shedsimgolf thank you!
What did you attach your screen too instead of an enclosure 2x4's?
I put studs in the wall before I finished the inside of the shed then just strapped the emt pipes to the wall and put bungees around those
12x16, is there room for both right and left hand golfers?
Havent had any lefties in there but the mat is basically in the middle of the shed so if theres room for righties there is room for lefties. I dont know that lefties could hit driver with the monitors there on the right side but you could set up differently if you went 12 X 16 and needed space for lefties.
Thank you. I have the flightscope mevo plus so I do need 18 feet (10 to screen and 8 to mevo). I had a 16x18 setup in the yard but since remodel my house. Looking for a fully enclosed room to build in. I also bought tgc2019 but I like e6 better. I'll have to try GSPro.
Playing paynes valley in 2 weeks! How much was your set up?
Hell yeah! Hope it goes well. All in prolly $20k with building
That’s gotta be a pain to get too in a snowstorm, how weatherproof is that shed? I’d be nervous as hell the first 10-12” snowstorm
Is the screen on the 12 ft side or 16 hard to tell
Screen is on the 12 ft side, need the distance in depth more than you need width
Can I Ask if you can give out the drawings?
I would if I had some! Unfortunately the contractor didn’t provide any.
So whats the size of this Shed?
@@lakerjoe4 12x16
Is the screen on 12ft wall or 16 ft wall
12 foot wall
Do you use anything for heat or a/c
Wi-Fi space heater that i can turn on an hour or so before I go out. Will probably get a window AC unit once I do a panel swap for the summer
Imagine being a lefty and owning this. Could never play with someone. What a joke of a sim. Nice setup though
Yeah lefties swing freely in here, always fun to jump to conclusions tho!
