  • Time Blending and Focus Blending can solve many landscape photography conundrums. There will always be situations where all the elements won’t come together at the same time to create the image that you have in mind. Where the depth of field isn’t enough to get front-to-back sharpness. Where the shutter speed doesn’t suit the moving water effect you want.
Blending photographs together in Adobe Photoshop allows you to disregard the art of compromise and bring your vision on location to life on the computer screen.
In this video, I will walk through my process to ensure that I leave the location with the photographs I need to create what I had in mind when I edit the images in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Many thanks for that Brian, it was great that you took the time to go through the process step by step, rather than expecting views to know what you were doing. Thanks once again.

Well Brian that was very interesting video, I will try and do that in the near future. The end result is brilliant with all the detail making it really worth while. Thank you for that video.

Thanks for that, always good to have a recap.
May I say music when you are talking is very distracting and interferes with the content. Just my opinion.
    Thanks mate, enjoyable

Thanks for the feedback Paul, I take your comment and try to reduce the music a bit, I kind of like it but I’m not making the videos for me I’m making them for you. So I always appreciate feedback. Hope it hadn’t put you off watching some more.

Suggest your photo be on the left side so I could actually see the layers. I assume you used a black mask and painted on the mask. One layer did not have a mask and you painted on the other two. Just a thought. Did like the video and the different blend modes in one photo.

Hi Paul, many thanks for the feedback. And impeccably timed. I'm i n the process of planning a new and improved vid on this subject, may even be two. One in the field and on editing bit sure yet but I will take your suggestions on board. Thanks for comment and glad you enjoyed it.
