They still need to fix some bugs within the current game. Seems they still haven't fixed the sight issue when pulling up your gun. Horde system still sucks. Quests are fine that will help people keep busy. I wish they didn't wait until later to get it implemented. I've been on here and there but this game is dead in the water on most servers. Until the new update comes out I'm staying off Camelot. Nothing to do.
The Devs have stated multiple times that they are working on large amounts of bug fixing and on fixing the puppet system. Like mentioned in the video I speculate we will see a large “bug fixing” patch released before the 1.0 update but we will have to wait and see.
Quests could have purpose in Scum, generate more engagment for new players. However... veteran players already know where to get "you name it" and fame can be generated quickly when crafting CRAP Ammo. Having seen every corner of the map, underwater and above I wouldn't bother to "Find Advanced Compass". So unless the rewards offer something substanstial, I don't see myself doing them for long. Devs need to revamp Fame system and character leveling around quests for it to make sense. Are we going back to AFK'ing with wheelbarrow in 1.0? What are your thoughts?
You make a lot of good points. Based off what the devs say in the video the quest should get a lot more difficult so I would imagine something similar to how they work in Escape From Tarkov but I don't know for sure. The quest system definitely opens up the possibility for the character leveling meta to change but guess we will have to wait and see what happens
There is no future for a open world survival game that has not launched yet because it's using UE4.... it's limited and always will be, if they took the time instead of working on trailers for each BETA patch and shifted focus on migration to UE5, I would say this game can expand and will be awesome... but as you see now in order for them to add anything they need to remove something in it's place... take the animals for example, all got removed (although they keep saying they are there, all the players know they are not)... it's just an empty map for PVP players to jump on raid and move to the next server.... I don't see a promising future and the content you're speaking off, quad bike, sea plan, SUV, they where all in the game... they just adding them back with the ability to remove and install doors :S
I understand your frustration but a lot of things got remove because they had bugs that needed fixed or to rework them to make them better. The devs are slowly adding these things back into the game and they have made improvements to them. You have to remember that the devs do not all work on the same things. Some are programmers, some are the art team working on textures, some are testers and so forth. Not everyone one has the same skill sets so they work on things based on the skill set they were hired to utilize just like any other company/team. This game has great potential but we will have to wait and see what happens with the coming updates😀
What are your thoughts on the latest information released by the Devs?

The quest system they have been working on all this time is just a discord mod that has been in the game for years...
You are correct but it will now be part of the base game and opens the possibility for other features connected to the quest system.
@@MrGameHunterchannel let's hope your prediction for pvp are correct
Deinstalled and waiting 🤷🏼♂️ to much talk still bugfiesta ingame
Yes there are still a bunch of bugs in the game and hopefully most of them are fixed in the coming updates. 😀
