This hasn't even premiered yet but I already have 2 lengthy videos for you to watch. Probably the most legendary live performance of all time. BTS MMA 2019. 5 songs, 37 minutes, absolutely breathtaking. And after that, the reason I'm suggesting this at 5:37 am, they just released the behind the scenes of their stages and preparations for the show on their channel, BANGTANTV(it has english captions)

Can I just say, apart from your reactions which I truly enjoy because they're genuine and they also have lots of good insights, I also want to give kudos for learning their names so quickly. I mean, you've only been watching them for like a week or something and there are reaction-channels that watch dozens of BTS videos for months and they still can't tell their names. Usually that's a quick indicator to see which people who only react to BTS for the views. I really appreciate that you don't seem to be one of them but that you truly enjoy watching them. I love how quickly you fell for Jimin and Jungkook and how you could easily pick out their voices in various videos

Honestly you’ve already jumped down the rabbit hole lol. There’s a whole fictional BTS Universe that their music videos follow. Look up the BU storyline and I’m sure you’ll find the correct list of videos and which order. Then I suggest looking up Xcelestes explanation videos cuz there are so many references and a shit ton of symbolism in their videos even veteran ARMY miss some things.
And yes, Jungkooks tatts are real. JiKook are the members with real tattoos

This aong has so many references to both films and biblical references aswell and the meaning behind both the lyrics and the MV is amazingly powerful
Bts has an official channel: BangtanTV, which they started waaay back at the beginning. You should skim through it, not for a reaction but to get to know their personalities and to understand the life they were living. Mostly made by their staff and themselves (the best), rather than fan-made content, you will see them grow-up. In your spare time...
ok I know people have already said this but, Jungkook has a whole sleeve of tattoos. and the ones on his knuckles spell out ARMY and has references to every members name with a J above the M. He also has the ARMY symbol, a smirky face, crown, and he has a lot more going up his arm. *Jimin* has the word "Nevermind" across his ribcage, and a 13 on his wrist. :) There's also rumors of one on his back, but we don't know.
I'd like to comment that the nevermind tattoo it seemed to be because of yoongi's song nevermind. Although nobody knows for sure
@@rosat8877 Yeah, I remember something like that being a thing, but we can't know for sure because he's never clarified, he just said it meant something very special to him.
Not sure about the one on his back but there's definitely 2 on the back of his arms above his elbows. They were covered up by tape in the comeback stages and by the size and shape I'm like 98% certain it's lettering or numbers

When BTS saw the video for the first time, they legit asked the same questions we did. 😂😂 The creative team for the Bangtan Universe always leave enough room that ARMY has to come up with their own theories. BTS have said we are the smart ones when it comes to theories.
So this whole album was a series about the 3 Jungian archetypes: the Persona. Shadow, and Ego. Here is a link explaining the 3 psyches.

Jung uses thorns to represent personal burdens of fear and doubt. JK having them around his hands is symbolic of being bound by those burdens.
The rock, I believe, is symbolic of their journey because at the end JK is free and happy and running upward. Aka. Their path is limitless and only goes higher and higher now that they are free of their burdens, fears, and doubt. The lyrics are a huge part of what this MV is about.
That's all I have come up. 🤷♀️ We were all pretty confused and we know that later on, it all may connect and blow our minds again. The inner storyline is amazing and also will fuck with your head so much. Pre-warning, BigHit is tricky af and things you never ever noticed will go on to be something major later on. 😂😂

I have been an anime fan for like 13 years now and I kinda get it.
BTS members remind me of Rookie 9 + Neji' team... they all are really charismatic, different from each other and are a lot of people. How often do you get that many interesting, good people who befriend each other?
You are invested in their stories, relationships and antics as much as you are on the fights/main plot (music).
They are likeable and we enjoy more the episodes where they are together. They have different abilities and we always wonder how different combinations will work.
In BTS case, they have sub units: only rappers, only singers, duos, etc. And its always amazing how they get creative with their different strengths.
I was a Naruto fan for 9 years until it ended and even though I continued to watch anime (on the weekly), I hadn't been as invested in a group of people and their stories until I meet BTS.
Its weird... and also BTS has that perfect underdog story with big organisations trying to make them fail but they overcame them with pure hard work... but this is real live. Its amazing.

Jungkook has a whoooole sleeve tattoo that he will not let us see except in tiny pieces like this video, so we don't know what they are, but we know they're there lmao. The only ones we see on a regular basis (just because he can't really cover them) are the ones on his hand. This explanation might be stupidly detailed, so bear with me, I just adore his tattoos lol
He's got several little ones, a crown, an emoji, a heart, etc., but the most prominent ones are their debut date, 0613, under his thumb, the ARMY symbol on the side of his hand, and ARMY across his knuckles, as well as a J on his ring finger. A lot of us think that he specifically styled his tattoos the way he did (the A is actually an upside down V) in order to have the names/initials of all the members as well as the name of their fans. The "A" is for Taehyung (V), RM is for Namjoon, Y is for Yoongi (Suga), and the J is for Jimin, Jin, and Hobi (jhope). It's incredibly endearing to think about, and extremely plausible, given how much he openly love his members, as well as his fans. Hopefully someday we'll get to see all of his tattoos and know some of the meanings behind them.
Side note: Jimin's also got a few!! He's got NEVERMIND across his ribcage, a 13 on his wrist (his birthday and their debut date), and - we think - one on the back of each elbow that we haven't seen yet.
Don’t worry about being confused at this music video, it’s still fairly new so even the explanations at the moment still don’t fully get all the details, because we don’t know what BTS is gonna throw at us next. For example, I still haven’t seen RUclips videos fully explain all the biblical references in depth that I personally see. Like others have suggested I really hope you react to one of Bookish Theories explanation videos to their music videos, she does a really good job of tying the philosophical aspects together and xceleste is really good at tying the story aspects together. As much as Bookish Theories is recommended I don’t see people reacting to her videos as much, so I really hope you get to see them! Again love the reaction. “YOU NICE KEEP GOING!”

The cinematography for this music video is seriously another level. Also yes Jungkook's arm + hand tattoos are real and super cool. Also since you like Jimin, might as well let you know that he has tattoos too (on his ribcage + wrist) and from what I know they're the only ones with tattoos I think.
Also Suga's real name 'Yoongi' is pronounced like yoon-gi (like moon with a y instead of m and gi rhyming with "key"). Love your videos a ton!!
Like the "Circle of Life" (Lion King reference) BTS literally came full circle with "NO MORE DREAM" changing to "DREAM" towards the end of the MV. "No More Dream" is their debut song from 2013 while "On" is from their current album *Map of the Soul 7* that was released on 2/21/20. The end scene where Jungkook was smiling & running on pride rock...almost leaping off the rock is like a leap of faith!! From them not having any dreams during debut to working hard towards their dream. This current album MOTS7 holds a lot of significance to them because 2020 marks their 7 years together as a group since their debut, plus they have 7 Members. They've put a lot of blood, sweat & tears to get them to where they are today...hence they came full circle! There's so much more to this mv, but that's my take/interpretation of the last scene. 😁💜 For even deeper meaning and analysis of this mv, check out another explanation video for "ON" from BOOKISH THEORIES!!!!!!

Yes those are JKs real tattoos. When he dipped his hands in the water (that was real too, his hands were red from being so cold) the thorn restraints disappeared into a shell. The animals in the Noah’s Arc scene were real not CGI. There were a lot of biblical references as well as movie references. 💜💜💜 there is an explanation video by XCELESTE!
That intro was the biggest ARMY Shooter energy. I love it! Also, baby ARMY confused by a BTS MV, we love to see it!

I’m so excited for this.. can’t wait to hear what you think of the various scenes and such. It’s always so interesting how people react and connect things. There’s plenty of different theories about the meaning of all the things going on. I think it’s one of my favorite things about bts music videos. Whether you’re happy with a video being imagery to appreciate, or something that tells a story but not one you necessarily have to ‘understand’ but rather take in, you can experience bts music/videos in your own way. It doesn’t have to viewed one real way for it to make sense. Yes, you can see this story in on as a connection to themes/stories and imagery from earlier bts videos. You can relate it to literature, mythology, folklore etc.. it’s really amazing. And whether or not you view it as it ‘is’ or want to make an entire story analysis about it, I think there’s a lot of enjoyment to be had. Somehow I’ve only been commenting esay esque long comments on your videos so far but my point is I can’t wait to watch this :’) also I just remembered you asked how old we were in your last reaction, I’m soon to be 21 (and not native English speaker) so sorry for any incomprehensible sentences !!:’)

Omg I SO relate! Jimin used to be my bias for a year or so when I wasn't super deep into fandom but since this album dropped an I saw Interlude Shadow, yeah... watching their videos and getting more and more confused is just a normal part of the army experience honestly. every time you think you know what's going on they pull something like this and we all run to each other yelling "what does it mean?? what does it all mean???"
and then you have to play detective for like two hours to get the context to start making sense out of it (or wait for someone else to do it and put up a video) and even then it's very open to interpretation. it's part of the fun but they definitely do it on purpose.

LMAO It’s not uncommon to collect a new bias the more you listen to them. It took me 6 MONTHS of hearing new songs, switching my bias between EVERY member, until deciding that I am just an OT7 stan. I cannot choose. They all have their own day of the week bc they have all surprised me and continue to do so. They’re all just so unique and talented.
