I’m glad Lee is getting to experience life….sometimes you got to rough it a bit. A lot of the memories you have are from times when you struggled and overcame adversity. Thats why you don’t have a lot of memories from day to day living. Not having enough money to stay the full weekend in the hotel so you have to figure out a way to make it work…Joey gets it because he’s been there. Being a stand up is a lot like opening up your own business. You got to grind for the first few years…lots of ramen, baked beans, rice, the pink mystery hot dogs and the cheapest cuts of chicken you can find….forget about steak. If you put in the work and get good at the craft, it pays off.
The day we lose uncle Joey will be such a devastating day to me anyways I swear I'm gonna take that entire day off and go DEEP n dedicate it to living TREMENDOUS and wild the entire day. Let's just hope that's not until 2060
