I miss Anthony in the morning, he is such a great interviewer and deliverer of the news. His new limited role feels like there is something missing at the table.

These three human beings are great examples for the rest of us. So down-to-earth, so intelligent, so respectful, so likable. They made a great team, while it lasted. I believe that Anthony Mason is not on the show anymore. Maybe I'm wrong?

As a person interested in Journalism this was pretty inspiring. I enjoyed listening to Tony, and Gayle preferably.
These men are great journalists but I wish the ratio between race and gender was balanced though...

I love Gayle, but what else could she have said except “it feels right.” Even if it felt wrong, it’s not like she would’ve said that. At the end of the day it wasn’t her decision to make.
Also why is CBS making such a big deal of this shakeup with their news team? I mean from time to time news executives make big choices to let people go, hire new people, and make a switch to who is on our tv screen. Why is this any different then any other time? If an anchor on The Today Show is leaving or going to another show they will make that initial announcement, and when it gets closer to that time they might have a going away celebration party on air or speak about their time together, but that’s about it. What they don’t do is 3 weeks of all this extra press.
Charlie Rose gave star power the show. He did seem really creepy about Norah O" Donnell, but you couldn't imagine he didn't understand boundaries. Gayle was enthusiastic, but her natural innocence is now forced, like a beloved old celebrity trying too hard to imitate his old charisma. They had that rare accidental chemistry that doesn't cost a dime. But, this new trio seems to have all the prep and phoniness a wealthy corporation's board room can buy.

I really enjoyed Tony D's story of disaster to greatness. He seems very genuine and classy. I think hes a great fit. I really like my girl Gayle, it just feels like shes trying too hard, slightly. Shes a great tv personality tho.

Yeah I love Gayle but not feeling this change at all, I really liked the chemistry of the previous crew. And call me shallow, but they moved Gayle and I can't see her shoes! I watch first to see what kind of shoes she is wearing then the news.

Today’s eye opener, becoming bald, the graying of hair, is life, it’s the coverup that’s show business, not journalism.
As the current ‘upfronts’ are in full bloom, here are just a few things that are a certainty…No women will be appearing with gray hair, no matter their age in a drama or comedy, or even if known to be of a certain age in real life, even fewer gray headed men for the same marketing reasoning. Any Afro-American females in a cast or appearing on a talk show panel, will be straight haired or wigged, oh, there will be a few Afro-Centric hair styles scattered about, those will be the exception and very few in number. Most of the female hair colors will be lightly shaded, if not outright blond. The most regrettable of the ‘upfronts’ predictions is what it confirms and means to the facial image of women, their make-up will become more trashy than ever before, very much like the image of current female news contributors, trashy blonds with pouting greasy lushes red lips, the cheapness of the appearance of women will be displayed in full bloom or returned with a big bang wherever it was once absent, without any seemingly objections from women, as they seem to be enjoying the fakery in dress up make-up, and yes, the ‘plain Jane’ is all but dead in broadcast media, too long did she reign…

Sorry but I am not feeling the chemistry with Gayle and these guys. Gayle may have wanted to be the only woman at the table, but she seems so uncomfortable with they guys. Almost coming off too old school for them...her posture, those glasses, droopy eyes and slow talk, IMO. Could have just had a rough day I guess. And without knowing who these guys are. They seem like they have to sit there and tolerate being co host to a colored woman in he biz while they patiently wait for the right moment to pounce and scoot her out. The younger guy is the up comer hungry and waiting for his big moment and the older guy is like I should have had my bigger success a long time ago and not have to wait a little longer taking a back seat to Gayle and watching my back with the younger Mr. Harvard. JMO/
