- This is a compilation from before I started to use my Blackvue, and I didnt work as much with the channel at that time.
In most clips I drive a Scania R500 (2014), 24 meters long with the trailer.

Yup. I really hate it when they try to past me on the very last moment. Our trucks are also provided with dashcams. We saved a lot of trouble with this because other driver pointing out to me that I was the problem.

I drove here in America for 10 years, and I feel your pain. I'm glad to see professional drivers all over the world see a lot of the same things, and yet rack up millions of miles (and kilometers!) without even more accidents from these idiots that just don't understand the physics of controlling thousands of pounds or kilograms of rolling mass!
Those merge zones... I'll never get why people to that so much, when they know its dangerous. Good vid!
Some drivers just love taking risks even if it could cost them dearly in more ways than one!
There are lots of people that are driving long journeys on these kind of roads. I have a few friends that on before hand already plan to drive way faster then the speed limit to save a little bit of time :). The passing zones are holy ground for them. Its stupid though.

9:44 This is the shit that pisses me off so much :D people see a police and immediately slow down under the speed limit if the police is driving slower too. Like, do you really think they're going to fine you for going 80 km/h in an 80 km/h zone????? They have better things to do that worry over people driving faster than them but still following the law.
I regularly over take at 70 mph (UK motorway limit) a line of vehicles following a Police car doing 60 mph.

By the way i had a similar situation long time ago. I drove behind 6 or 7 cars, they drove all with 60 Km/h (in a 100 Km/h zone), at some point i had no more patience so i started to overtake all these cars, then i saw that the first car was a police car. I got back into the line behind the police car, but they wanted to stop the car behind them, so now the car behind me (with a czech licence plate), now i was an obstruction for them. After 30 seconds they indicate me to overtake and as i passed them they turned on their "STOP" sign with blue lights.

I've passed the police (and a long row of cars behind them) plenty of times and they didn't do anything at all. I think they do it on purpose just so they can laugh at all the morons who don't dare to keep to the speed limit.....
Nice video! :) I find myself in many similar situations almost every day driving a tow-truck in Norway. I'm thinking about putting my blackvue in the truck, but i find it more needed in my private car... Drive safe, it's idiots everywhere :)

I don't drive big trucks but the physical limitations seem rather obvious! I treat semis (USA) like the giant heavy vehicles they are.

If the police found something wrong with my truck, after that fantastic display of driving they put up. I think their boss would be seeing the video.
I just like how much better the standard of driving there is - I know people will say 'have you seen some of these idiots' etc but seriously, compared to us dashcams this is amazing driving

For situations like the 8:00 one, I've found that using horn signals in advance is a good deterrent. For example, the North American "train approaching a crossing" signal horn signal (LONG, LONG, SHORT, LONG; don't know if it'd be different in Sweden) starting around the 7:58 mark and ending as you start into the interchange, would have likely kept that kid at bay. Of course, if the "train approaching a crossing" horn signal up there is different, then by all means, use that. The main reason this works is that (most) people have learned that the LONG, LONG, SHORT, LONG signal means something along the lines of "you get in front of me, and you will die." Valid only at intersections, and possibly roundabouts; doesn't apply to someone who cuts you off while cruising.

När jag kör 2.1 väg med husvagn så när det närmar sig avsmalning och risken att det kommen en sista sekunden chansare lägger jag mig lite mer åt vänster så jag har möjlighet att ge mer väg om de ändå laddar för omkörning fast filen tar slut.

Your videos are hilarious, although seeing so many bad drivers is really worrying. Even so, you seem really calm. Could you please tell me how I could get a job as a truck driver in Sweden? I am from Romania and I only got my truck driving license for about 2 months, so no experience yet.

Älskar dina filmer, jag som busschaufför bevittnar också massa idioter i trafiken, nästan så man har också lust och sätta dit en dashcam för att filma alla bilister men främst cyklister och fotgängare som inte ser sig för men även taxichaufförer som aldrig kollar innan de byter fil och även stannar för att släppa av på helt fel ställen...
Litet tips... gå ut i mitten så man blockar båda filerna när dem går ihop... då är det fysiskt omöjligt att komma förbi och det syns när man ligger i båda filer.
Gött med en "best of" Mycket action =) Brukar poliserna stanna lastbilar på ett så muppigt sätt? Hade ju varit hur kul som helst om du bara hade fortsatt rakt fram istället när dom vinka in dig till höger med så löjligt kort varsel.
Att man blir stannad lite då och då händer, senaste i måndags faktiskt.

9:55 Would it have been legal in that situation for you to pass them in the left lane (in Sweden). Here in Belgium the law is that heavy trucks can't pass on two lane highways beteen 7.00 and 19.00, or when it rains.
It would have been legal, unless there where a special sign fobidding it. But those signs are usually for narrow roads och long uphill climbs.
It seemed like he knew they wanted to do an inspection of his truck which is why he didn't pass

I remember on the A1 on the german Autobahn was doin 190kmh while some swedish grandpa was getting in my lane with 100kmh. Shiiiet and he didnt mind to accelerate.

No it was just a random check. They look for tires, brakes and stuff like that. Check my load, and so I have had my breaks.

Blind spot, if you as car driver can't see the eyes of the truckdriver don't merge cuz he won't notice unless he got lucky spotting you. Happens to all of us and it scares the shit out of us 9/10 times.
Maybe I'm stupid, but I'm confused about what happened at 3:33 - about 3:50. I didn't SEE any car close enough to hit the semi; obviously I'm missing something.

The car started to pass me, going out in the left lane. But at the same time, the left lane was ending, as you can see. But you cant see the car in the camera...well, at least not the collision.
The car comes in to screen first at 3:57...after hiting the side of my trailer. And then driving(jumping) over the "curb".
@@truckdriver1982 Ahhh, okay. Since I didn't see the actual collision I wasn't sure. But when she pulled over the first thing I was thinking was "Dang; could she have found a worse place to make YOU pull over?" I mean, if she had pulled up into what looks like a "pull off" area, it sure would have made it easier for you to get your trailer out of the roadway! She sure didn't leave you much room!

It looks like truckers probably end up in more crashes than the rest of us realize. On average, how often do you end up involved in a crash?
I have been driving for this Company the last 12 years, and have been hit 3 times.
Actually 4, but the last one drove of, and there was no damage to the truck.
