We’re delighted to introduce Dr. Natalie Connor-Robson, is an Alzheimer’s Research UK fellow at Cardiff University.
Using stem cell technology, she'll explore how Alzheimer's risk genes could influence nerve cells and microglia-the brain's immune cells.
By deciphering the role of these genes and their impact on cell response to the Alzheimer's hallmark protein, amyloid, we may discover crucial clues for new drug targets.
And this will pave the way for a cure.
