The Great British Sewing Bee 2023 Roundup - Episode 7

The Great British Sewing Bee is back on the BBC with 12 new contestants joining judges Patrick Grant and Esmé Young and host Sara Pascoe for the chance to be crowned 2023’s star sewist. Here at Minerva, we’re so excited about the brand-new series; join Vicki and Natalie as they share their take on each episode - expect giggles, gossip and oodles of gorgeous fabrics!
Throughout this series, the duo will be chatting about the challenges and themes in each episode, the fabulous contestants and all things sewing! As well as sharing their favourite makes from the show, Vicki and Natalie also showcase what they would sew for each challenge.
In episode 7, the contestants are taking a trip back to the nostalgic 90s! The pattern challenge sees the recruits tackle cool cargo pants which play homage to 90’s streetwear. Challenge two is for icons only, watch as the contestants transform household textiles into fun fancy dress. And in the made-to-measure, the competitors design stunning figure-hugging dresses fit for a supermodel - prepare for drama!
