This particular scene sets up a lot of untold things in the movie, the fact that Yagya Prakash and Akshay know and respect each other a lot tells that psychology and Jyotish Vidya do have a lot in common, proved by Yagya Prakash exact predictions about the situations in the palace as well in this scene. Also this sets up that Akshay, before coming here, do have a lot of adventures to explore as a psychologist in USA and in India, the journey of him writing his books on para psychology. Also, the journey of Yagya Prakash as a Jyotish, since he was a child (as told by Radha's father), his journey to America and meeting Akshay, also pointing out that they may have worked together previously too. All these things can itself can turn into a lot of spin-offs and sequels from this movie. This had a lot of potential into becoming a unique psycho-thriller cinematic universe with a touch of religious traditions 🙂
