Thank you for the video! I really want this watch I think... Great bracelet for a reasonably priced Seiko and I just like the smooth actions. Reseting the chronograph, so pretty. = )
I recently bought my 2nd Coutura from a Retailer Friend of mine. It's a SSG 010. It had never been sold or worn and sat in the box ( new ) in a drawer for 7+ years ( its a 2016) It is totally dead . . . I mean DEAD. I knowingly bought it this way. Won't run, won't charge so of course it won't reset. I have given it 10hrs of outdoor recharge . . . No Signs of Life sofar. I have a new and Expensive $73 Capacitor ( Seiko 3022-65Y ) coming from CA for it in hopes that might be the problem. Seemed to be the most likely cause to me ??? Any Expert Help/Advice would be Greatly Appreciated. P.S. My other one is a Jimmy Johnson Special Edition /Blue Dial / 2 Button that I have had for 4yrs and I am well aware of how it operates. Both Look Pristine . . . I rarely wear them and mostly keep them in the window. ? Question ? : Is there a more reasonably priced compatible capacitor other than the 3022-65Y. Both of my Coutura' have the same 8B92 Movement . . . Thanks To ALL . . . Wish Me LUCK.
Will the date update with the signal too? Like say from February 29th to March 1st, will the signal tell the watch what the date is or do you have to manually change the date over?
It's not that bad without a signal. Unless you changing time zones all the time, you rarely need to change the time. It's a gorgeous watch for the price.
I just bought ssg010, very nice and budget watch

You should check out the Casio Oceanus Manta and Citizen Attesa models.
I just got this , great watch. but the second hand seems to be off.
How does this compare to the SAGA205?
If you don't live within reach of the tower's signal, prepare for a nightmare. Or better yet, don't buy these Seiko Radio Sync Solar watches!

Afraid to show the motion?
You sound like Paul Stanley of KISS.
