I think I wore this record out back in 73-74. Drove my mom crazy.
I got the original vinyl. I too had worn the first one out. Except my Daddy loved me playing it❤❤❤❤
I love watching you two. You're my favorite people on RUclips.
Thank you 💚
John Bonham's drums are the stick that stirs the drink in this cut.
That's a perfect description! .😎
The fills are genius.
Maybe this is a bit off topic, but you two are cuter than a dozen puppies and kittens. They should show your reactions to couples that are going through counseling. You are a perfect example of how to show respect for each other.
Oh, many thanks for your beautiful words. Much love from both of us 💚
You picked up on that , did you ?........LOL :)
I’ve heard the spelling of the song title is supposed to be pronounced JAMAICA. It makes sense with its reggae vibe.
D'yer Mak'er
Jermaker
Jamaica
Glad u picked the studio version, especially with this song...you're learning. lol
They never did this live I don't think
They started out doing essentially electrified blues, but they had too much talent in the band to keep doing what might be called cover songs. I think the diversity of the styles represents the diversity of the members of the band as each one added something unique. One thing you can say about LZ is that they are never boring.
Zeppelin were so diverse. Wish more new music was.
Yes Andre you nailed it…Giants Causeway Northern Ireland…the children on cover are brother and sister. I continue to love your reactions & Dominique it’s totally ok to be crushin’ on Robert…we all did/do…..all the girls wanted him, all the guys wanted to be him!!!
You 2 are a breath of fresh air, watching you enjoy all the pop/rock music that I grew up with does my heart good. Bucurați-vă de călătorie
Thanks guys for all the Led Zeppelin. Hope your doing great ❤
Yes, the photo is from Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. The girl on the cover of the album is NOT related to Robert Plant, but she later appears in the liner photos on the Presence album.
It’s actually….”Did you make her”! The GOATS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Zeppelin could pull off any musical genres. Try listening to Hot Dog” next when they attempt country!! ✌️❤️✌️❤️
Also Bron Y Aur Stomp is country
Down By the Seaside too.
This is the perfect kitchen dance song.
Haha, agree 💚
You two are very lovable, you will never run out of magnificent bands and their music from the seventies,
Don't forget the 60s. 😮
You're right, that is called "The Giant's Causeway" in Northern Ireland. Great reaction!!!
“D ya make er” say it fast and it sounds like “Jamaica”. Old joke:
My wife went to the West Indies.
Jamaica?
No, she wanted to go.
when this was first released, loads of zeppelin fans hated this song- i have no idea why-it is brilliant and one of their best
Tremendous drumming courtesy of dear John, this song always elevates my mood thank all the Gods for Led Zeppelin! By the way those glasses are awesome!
Thank you 🤓
They wanted to do an all out reggae song but Bonham said no. He was not a real fan of reggae but especially reggae drumming. He said, this is what you're getting.....and it was the perfect choice. The drums make the song. If he had played reggae style it would have lost half of its character and charm. Another great reaction to the Zeppelin, guys!
Jamaica is one of my all time fav Zepp songs.
Great reaction as always....you guys make me smile 😊
So glad! 😊
They were quite experimental on "Houses of the Holy' with tracks like this, The Crunge, The Ocean & No Quarter. You're right Andre, the cover is a picture of the basalt columns of 'The Giants Causeway' off the coast of Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.
I"m 50 years old. When my friends and I listened to this song in high school, high as F, we called it the VOWEL SONG. Only LZ can make Lyrics out of vowels. LOLZ.
Don’t stop now, it just gets better and better!!
This song was on the radio in the early 70’s it was great. The title of song really means “did you make her”. If you listen to the words that is what it is all about.
Where's our Red Stripe lager! Thanks again for the Zep reaction!
You both will also find Rob's solo catalog tantalizing. 😊 I would start with Heaven Knows from Now and Zen to get the God-ness he still was, for the intro. Heh then go back to earlier with In the Mood, Big Log, the entire Shak n' Stirred album...I could go on. Seen solo many many times. So awesome. Every, single, time.
Love watching your faces when a new Zeppelin song starts with a new genre/sound, and always with smiles on your faces - it really is a joy to watch as an ‘oldie’ who grew up with this music ❤
Mucho ritmo 🪘
Muy buena música
Desde pequeño mis hermanas y sus novios la escuchaban.!!!!😊
I believe the cover art is from the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland.
Love it ! I really do enjoy watching you both react to the GOAT! Peace and love as always!
My two favorite reactors🎉
You are right that is a spot in Ireland
Great song from a Great album ..Houses Of The Holy. ❤❤❤
Yes, North Ireland
This was the perfect song back in the day to kick off a beach party, it was always the first one on my playlist and immediately got everyone loose and happy around the bonfire, it was glorious.
The name of that song. Is from an old Welsh joke.
A bloke goes into a pub he hasn't been to a while.
And his friends say where the hell ya been?
And he says I took my wife to the islands for holiday
And they say D'yer Mak'er (Jamaica)
He said no she wanted to go
Welsh? 🤔
One of my favorites of theirs 😊
You two are so much fun to watch!
Thank you ☺️
oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the reaction ❤
Apologies if I'm repeating a previous response, but the album cover is of 'The Giant's Causeway' in N.Ireland. And what a track! Keep up your marvellous reactions. x
Great song, great reaction.
Right from the beginning I was sure you would get up and dance.
Almost 😀
This is my favorite song from Led Zeppelin, thank you very much! Love it!

Great reactions
Rasta Robert in fine voice. When isn't he?!

You are the best coupe since i live. And that's a a fact from a original leon sign , who is born at 1.8.1961 . Have fun together. In this moment i enjoy you, exactly at 19.39 on tuesday, second of july 2024.
I wanted to say couple, because now i'm soooooo drunken from my rose wine from switzerland. I think, you know, i'm swiss. But this song is trash for me. Only for s...... x.
Thanks for doing my pick, love your reaction! Glad you dug this song… We are running out of different genres for the band lol… We’ll have to think hard about the next one!❤
This isn't 50's Rock and roll this is reggae hard Rock!
One of my favorites! Hi Arnold!

This is Three Dog Night performing "Eli's Coming" (Live) with The Tennessee Symphony Orchestra in 2002. Three Dog Night along with Led Zeppelin, Blood Sweat & Tears, & Yes are one of my all-time favorite Rock Bands!!! Check it out and tell me what you think.
It's hard to believe now but back then we never knew for sure if we would find a way to see Zep when they came to town. We had to spread whatever money we had between them and all the other great bands in their prime. But we managed to do it twice.
Hard to get tickets...always sold out every show!
@@juliemanarin4127 Yes, and had to show up and get in line to buy em
Love you guys
D’yer Mak’er (Jamaica)

@@sicotshit7068 OMG so weird that ya asked me this today cuz i swear i was thinking of dropping him a comment today cuz yea i am starting to also get a bit worried about him as well hoping he is ok **ManyPixieHugz&Luvz**
@@CosmicVagabondPixie he hasn’t even liked any of the comments, so I don’t think he’d get it, not sure if he posted to many reactions at once & maybe in RUclips jail like Facebook does.. unlike so many others, he’s never asked for money, or the buy me a coffee thing.I just hope he comes back. I’ve seen a few others post issues with RUclips, so maybe that’s it, I just thought I somehow missed him. Thanks for answering.

Hi guys. The RUclips algorithm sometimes gives us pleasant surprises, I am very happy to see your reactions. I am writing to you from Chile in the south of the world, I hope that at some point you can visit us. I would like to suggest that you react to three Chilean gangs! The three; congress and pig in stone. I congratulate you again, you radiate beautiful energy.
Thank you kindly. Much love all the way from Romania ☺️💚

Check out Hots On For Nowhere, its a really good one!
Yes they even did Reggae! It is pronounced Jamaica.
Next up>>>Fool In The Rain
From the very same album, please listen to “ No Quarter”. Then try the live version with video from 1973. It’ll blow your minds. Best wishes from England. 🏴
Thank you. Greetings from Romania 💚
@@MerchantOfAlba I have never visited your country, unfortunately. The closest I have been is 🇧🇬 Bulgaria. You are both a joy to watch. Have a good day. 😎
Love your reactions to Led Zeppelin songs, and wondering if you would listen & react to a band called Little Feat album Waiting for Columbus.
I think it’s the Giants Causeway which is in Northern Ireland or it uses it as an idea.
Yep, that is correct, it is the Giant's Causeway on the album cover. 💯
❤
Can I suggest you have a listen to Kaleo. They are an Icelandic rock band (I will not attempt to pronounce or spell their names!) and the vocalist has such a voice range which alone is worth listening to. Top tracks - "Way down we Go", "All the Pretty Girls" and many others!
We did cover one of their songs called "Save Yourself". Amazing! Please search in our videos 😊
amo areação de voces gostaria que reagisse ao brasileiro gabriel henrique musica stand up
Hey guys! So acoustic music was a big part of Zeppelins sound and I think it’s been a while since you did one of those. Hey Hey What can I Do was recorded for the third album in 1970 but they never put it on the album (big mistake!) It was released as the flipside of the Immigrant Song single… Just a fun song that everybody seems to love and a great Robert Plant vocal!
ruclips.net/video/epX8Th4aiMc/видео.htmlsi=mziWPHAZOZnYAUnh
Hello Ed, woo hoo for another Led Zeppelin! 😁 Fun song and Robert's vocals is what we love the most! Love your choice 💚
Check out the song Hotdog.
React to "the rover" by led zeppelin
😀😀😀😀😀
Well, as a mad Zephead…..you’re finally at one of the handful I don’t care for much. But it’s fun. Zep goes reggae. Just a lark for them, because…..well….why not? It’s great to goof around. I can think of better options for an album though…..
Ok soy yo de nuevo.

Pronounced "jamaica", but it's slang for Did you make her!
It's not so much slang, rather it plays on the fact that a cockney (Londoner) would pronounce these two things the same way.
The title is a pun from a silly joke. It's pronounced like "Jamaica." A guy says, "My wife went on a holiday to the Carribbean." His friend says, "Oh, Jamaica?" and first guy says, "No it was her idea." (Jamaica = d'jer mak'r = did you make her).
.
I love how the tiny piano break comes out of seeming nowhere.
Ohhh, makes sense. Doesn't matter how many times i read it, I cannot seem to say Jamaica 😂
Both Jimmy Page and John Bonham hated this song and refused to ever play it live.
Although I adore this song, it is certainly not very representative of LZ’s enormous and varied repertoire. I won’t give any suggestions as I am certain other followers will put you on the right track (I’m on hold for St. James Infirmary, right ?) for some of the masterpieces by this band considered by many as the greatest of all time. Much for you to discover.
Hola chicos, excelente canal! Les quiero recomendar reaccionar a "Miño" de Los Bunkers en vivo en Plaza Dignidad. Les dejo el link!

Many groups, in later years bands who have such little talent, had to borrow from Zep.
It's pronounced jer maker, not Jamaica. As in "did you make her" heard Jason Bonham explain this years ago. You guys are great! Really enjoy your, Zep reactions
The title is a double entendre. "D'yer Maker" is a question in a British accent: Did you make her? (meaning, did you have sex?). But the way it's pronounced , it sounds just like the country "Jamaica". So it's a clever title for a reggae song.
I didn't see that sexual meaning before. The meaning I understood was from an old joke told in a cockney accent. A man says to his friend that his wife has gone off to the Caribbean. The friend says 'Jamaica?'' The man thinks his friend was saying 'D'yer Mak'er' meaning 'Did you make her go?' He replies 'No she went of her own accord' (She decided herself to go). Then the lyrics of the song are about a woman who's intending to leave and her lover is begging her to stay, as if LZ imagined the back story to the joke. Although D'yer Mak'er is the title of the song, it does not appear in the lyrics.
@@heliotropezzz333 You are correct. I think the original poster is either mistaken or just making things up.
When we try to say it, it sounds nothing like Jamaica 😂
@@MerchantOfAlba You have to adopt the right London accent for it to sound like Jamaica. D'yer pronounced like Jur.
