- We had to much bugs on the eth0 summer event. So some persons from HACK42 decided to build this epic bugzapper. The microwave is used as the powersource for this evil device!

Anyone ever tried to convert one of these bug zappers to an electric fence zapper? I was thinking about trying to convert a bug zapper solar 2 a solar electric fence. Don't know if that's a feasible idea or if there's just a better way of doing it

It's just building cloth, separated by insulators and a microwave transformer. 2100vac.

How much watts
I just hooked up a microwave transformer to an electric flyswatter, when an arc was initiated it kept going regardless of having a conductor (bug, etc..) between the grids it's too much power in the flash over was too great The Arc just kept going between my grits until it melted both of the grids. 😬 Trial and error I guess
