Even though he's semi-retired, it's nice to see you dad on the job with you. Your grandfather was probably pleased to also get consulted on possible approaches to this recovery. All three of you on site did a nice job of working together.
Awesome recovery. What's really amazing is that the condition of the car's body is unbelievable intact after a 300 foot ride down that steep slope. I suspect the damage is mostly to the chassis and suspension.
When Darl said “it’s 2 cars down here” i thought he was playing, but he wasn’t there really was! Crazy! Wonder how long the other has been sitting down there! This video is amazing to see the full side of what you guys have to do
Hey Trent & ALL Crew !!! Yepper !!! Josh would give you 👍👍👍👍👍 for that recovery for sure !!!! The Ins. Co. will have quite a Bill to pay for this 1 !!! Glad Darl was able to get down & back with NO issues !!! 🙃😊🤔🤠😎👀👀👀👀
I'd never get Pepe's to do a job for me. I've seen them lift semi's unnecessarily completely in the air just to get a photo. If it was my semi they were doing that with. I'd come unmotherf*%king glued. I'm sure if OSHA seen that stuff, they'd be getting a letter or a visit.
Great job, gentlemen. Perfect planning, execution and teamwork. Interesting video from start to finish. Hopefully Daryl got a major bonus paycheck for the hazardous repelling.
Considering the dive the Jeep took there didn't look like much body damage. I guess they wanted to see now well it drove off road. Good job guys. Stay safe.
Not sure if it would work in car towing and recovery but on the marine side we use welding rods instead of cotter pins, does the same job but easier to remove and put on, just twist it
Great job. Thank you for sharing this with us, i hope someone bought Darryl launch.... One thing that surprises me is that i didn't see any police presence. I assumed do to the risk they would be on sight. Anyway thanks again. Looking forward to all your future videos
Rappel comes from a French word originally meaning to recall, but is now used to refer to lowering oneself down a steep face by means of a rope and harness. Repel also comes from a French word, but means to drive away.
Nice job on the recovery first off and secondly I seen another vehicle down by the one you recovered out of good faith for the eco system you should of brought that one up since your all setup ! Free bonus points for the company's reputation in doing so !!
Just a suggestion; instead of rolling up your rope - ' bag it'!! I climbed towers for years and would take a bag of rope to what ever level I needed and just dropped it - never a tangle ! In this case the blue rope could just feed out instead of fighting the tangle or throw it over the side. When I bagged my rope both ends were visible at the top of the bag incase I needed to attach a second. Great job!!
Hi there . Nice to have à video but i get à feeling something is lost. In french we say ”le joie de vivre” translating to the pleasure of life . Hope you are OK. One heck of a job. Stay safe. Stay well
Did Plaza submit a quote to the state to retrieve the much older abandoned vehicle just a little farther downslope? The first time to do something has a learning curve the second time benefits from that learning curve. I expect you could retrieve that second car in about ⅓ as much time. It would be a good mid-winter dry spell project when the snakes are inactive. Though there could be some holed up in that old piece of junk. Was it about a 30 year old Saurus/Table wagon?
Great job! Did the air bags not even deploy ? Amazing job. Anyone know what that strange contraption with wires was on the passenger floor in the car? Curious looking.
Nicely done guys. Calm, collected and none of your crew hurt.
Your best video to date because I heard Darrell actually laugh for once 🤣😂🤣
Even though he's semi-retired, it's nice to see you dad on the job with you. Your grandfather was probably pleased to also get consulted on possible approaches to this recovery. All three of you on site did a nice job of working together.
Let's all take a moment to appreciate the randomness of the no littering sign.
One of the best recoveries I have seen here. Great job to the entire crew.
What an adventure.
Good job planning. You had everything you needed.
awesome recovery and one you can definitely call a special job! huge thanks as always for sharing
Awesome recovery. What's really amazing is that the condition of the car's body is unbelievable intact after a 300 foot ride down that steep slope.

Yes, we were very surprised the minimal damage considering the journey it took
@@plazatowing A good recovery company helps too. A lot of other companies would have ripped the car apart on the way back up.
I Trent I am your biggest fan why are you not making videos
Awesome job guys God bless you and the crew
When Darl said “it’s 2 cars down here” i thought he was playing, but he wasn’t there really was! Crazy! Wonder how long the other has been sitting down there! This video is amazing to see the full side of what you guys have to do
Never a boring moment with Trent ❤❤❤
One of the best recoveries I have seen on RUclips. Safety for you guy was number one. Very professional
I fast-forwarded this video to about 4 minutes, and that was just about right.
The destroyed 'No Littering' sign right next to a dumped car, perfect.
Wow that was a LONG way down there! You all got it up no problem & no extra damage
Trent, great video! Thanks for sharing. Hope Darl didn't get too worn out "mountain" climbing! Stay safe guys.
Darl is the man! Well done to all three of you,Trent Jr.!
Nice recovery. New axles and it looks like that car could drive again.
Bless TJ, AWESOME video & recovery. Hats off to everyone. Thanks 😊
36:40 - That road sign, just seems so well placed in this situation.
Pepe ‘s have been doing these they been out 300-200 feet out 2 at one time my hats off to you tow guys for doing that kind of stuff good job 👍🏻
You never same to disappoint. Great recovery.
Good job getting it back up the hill! Good work Darl going down to hook it up!
Love the no littering sign
Awesome job guys, the best crew around. Thanks for sharing.
Great job, gentlemen. Perfect planning, execution and teamwork. Interesting video from start to finish. Hopefully Daryl got a major bonus paycheck for the hazardous repelling.
Darl can add mountaineering to his skillset lol
Just plain showin off not draggin in up on the roll back! LoL
Nicely and safely done. Indeed….an impressive one for the books imo.
Love that view point. Been there hundreds of times.
Great Job, hope Dahl got an extra $100. in his pay envelope
pay check
Heck of a job. Nice going all.
Nice! I thought only Pepe's goes car fishing!!
Ron Pratt also (occasionally) goes car fishing as well
If you wanna watch more of these long recoveries down steep banks Pepe’s towing has a few on his channel.
This is good experience for any towing company. The sort of thing Pepe's does fairly often in the hills around LA.
Is good. That was a great fishing job of catching that red snapper. 🎣
All the Jeep guys would have been like “Get in it and drive it up the hill!” 😆
Great work as always, you are prepared for anything
Actually, I agree with all the comments here. very nice video.
Considering the dive the Jeep took there didn't look like much body damage. I guess they wanted to see now well it drove off road.
Good job guys. Stay safe.
Good planning ive done 150 plus ft recoveries on hwy ,74 Ortega hwy usfs gave me repelling gear wish i had snake Gators or boots good job guys
I like this kind of recovery.. although it is taxing on you and the crew, it’s still very well done.
This is tyhe second over the edge video I have watched in the past few weeks, anothe LA towing company did the same thing
really nice jobs guys keep the videos coming
Not sure if it would work in car towing and recovery but on the marine side we use welding rods instead of cotter pins, does the same job but easier to remove and put on, just twist it
Awesome enjoyed watching very professional great team
Great job guys, loved this video.
Great team work
Perfect lift.. congratulations 🎉
Miller needs to add a long line option for car fishing.
Now that was a "technical" recovery!
good recovery, keep the clips coming
Nice job . I figured it would have been just a wad of metal as far as it was down there .
Great job. Thank you for sharing this with us, i hope someone bought Darryl launch....

Another 74 incident, love em!
Thats was cool AF. Nice work!
Nice job on the recovery first off and secondly I seen another vehicle down by the one you recovered out of good faith for the eco system you should of brought that one up since your all setup ! Free bonus points for the company's reputation in doing so !!
That’s Hwy 74 where they filmed “Mad Mad Mad Mad World”. Talk about some crazy wrecks, there. That car was lucky!
Nice teem work looking good 👍👍👍😊
Those are tire chains in the box on the floor.
Awesome job to all parties involved I am a new subscriber
thanks for another great video.

Nice work!
That was amazing!
Nice recovery! another good video also
Good job guys
500' ropes . Lower him from the top through a figure 8 , and a 4 to 1 collapsible pully system so you can bring him back up. ROCO rescue.
I miss Plaza Towing. :(
"Gone Fishing"
Daryl should get a hazard bonus
synthetic extensions would have been awesome for this job
Should be back in the rental fleet next week.
👋👋👋👋👋👋very nice work,
Cool thanks I was just wondering if the driver was hurt
Awesome well planned video.
I just hope you do not get anymore of these calls.
Hi there . Nice to have à video but i get à feeling something is lost. In french we say ”le joie de vivre” translating to the pleasure of life . Hope you are OK. One heck of a job. Stay safe. Stay well
Perfect!

Nice job!
Surprised it didn't roll over.
Hope all is well with you, miss the videos

Good job! Y’all getting other one as community service to clean environment?
Tire chains in the jeep
You guys need a drone..
Plus your guy who went down the hill should have a camera. But overall good job!
You said someone push it down the hill, but do you know how or why? Great job recovering.
When are you coming back for the burned out one 😉
Maybe Call Dave Sparks.
Ice fishing
Project Binky used that music
Great job! Did the air bags not even deploy ? Amazing job. Anyone know what that strange contraption with wires was on the passenger floor in the car? Curious looking.
Looked like snow chains...?
Great fishing over the side. Pepe's has done many of these over the cliff .
Not seeing much from you guys. Problems?. Miss your videos😮. Hope all OK with you.
Is Plaza Towing not doing anymore videos? I miss them
Trent, were the keys in it?
What about the other one down there?
Is a class 8 tow truck driver restricted (Logs) to the 11/14 rule like otr drivers⁉️.
Did you retrieve the bumper and stuff you ripped off the car as you dragged it up the hill?
Did Daryl have to go back down to pick up the rest of the bits of the car and the road sign ?
Don't worry about that junk left down there--what does it matter?
Where are you new videos Trent? Been 4 months since you last posted one!
